My cats love this! We put it in a box and they all love sleeping in it. It was intended to stay in the chilly basement for them to use at night but if we don't bring it up during the day, one cat will yell until we do. The fabric is soft, there is plenty of cord length, and I love that the temperature can be adjusted. The timer is also a great feature. I'm buying a second one soon.

Can't speak directly for the cat but she took to the heating pad within minutes after setting it up and completing the preheating function. Setting up is very easy with the directions included and changing the heat and time is a snap. Couple of considerations though. First, the material that covers the actual heating pad is fairly thin so I placed a light inexpensive fleece throw (from Walmart) over the heating pad. I did this because my cat kneads a lot and the cover may not withstand this over time. Plus it keeps the heat from dissipating. Secondly, I would recommend starting the heat temperature lower than the default 120 degrees. That may be a bit too high initially for a good comfort level. I think it would be better to select a higher setting, if needed, rather than go down in degrees. All in all, a good product, easy to use, warms up quickly, good size and the intended user seems to like it during the cold winter nights. Recommended.

Most of the electric animal blankets/bed/bed pads that I have purchased over the years don't have a 24-hour time option like this Gasur pet heating blanket. As we are on a farm, we get quite a few feral cats; the mama's have regular litters. We cannot do anything about that; however, we can offer a warm place during the extreme cold temperatures. This Gasur offers not only options to set the timer from 1–24-hour periods but also allows a variety of temperature settings. It is a perfect size, and I like the thickness of the heating pad cover. The heating pad cover removes easily for cleaning. The feral cats do a wonderful job of keeping out property pretty much rat/mouse/critter free. This heating pad is our way of giving back for round-the-clock pest control. We are going to be purchasing more, now that we know how good the quality and features on this pad are.

I actually use this for my chihuahua dog it is wonderful because you can set 1 to 24 and then there's an ON option also. I set mine to about 90° because it will become too hot in California but it keeps my dog cozy this winter and she loves it! Some people say it's not a very thick but I think it's quite adequate and very nice. I would definitely buy another one if I needed it. Since the prices of electricity have doubled so expensive it's an excellent way to save money I have an electric blanket and my dogs both have the little Heating pads we save money and turn off the heater at night.

We live in central Indiana where it gets cold from Nov - April. We have a cat that stays in our garage, which is insulated but not heated. As soon as I got this pad, he went right to it and has spent hours on it. Love the temp adjusting feature but my only negative is that it is on a timer. Wish it would just stay on.

I spent a lot of time sorting through reviews of pet friendly heating pads that would make our 20 year old cat happier. I wanted to find something that fit the following criteria: waterproof, industrial strength cord, easily adjustable/visible heat settings, auto off timer, and had reliable temperature control (does not overheat). This heating pad is awesome. I put it in a pillowcase and placed it in the middle of the bed. Even in the highest setting it isn’t too warm. It is just barely warm to the touch, so much so that I thought it wasn’t working. Once I held my hand on it for a few minutes I noticed it was the perfect temperature. On the highest setting it feels like lukewarm bath water, which is ideal for safety reasons. I believe this heating pad has contributed significantly to her quality of life. She seems to be in less pain, is more relaxed, and is overall happier. In all honesty I think this has extended her time here.
