I used it as an adhesive...Everything went fine during my replacement of the water pump on my suburban until I was faced with simultaneously holding the two gaskets in place on a vertical surface while aligning six bolts and working the pump into exact position with only two hands...(I tried hanging the gaskets on the bolts but they kept sliding out of the holes.) I ordered the High Tack, sprayed both sides of the gaskets, waited about 2 minutes for everything to get tacky, pressed the gaskets in place , and bolted the pump on. No leaks! No muss, no fuss, no messy pans to clean! ... show more

I rebuilt the trans and transfer case on my classic using oem gaskets and hi tack, no leaks at all. If you have a newer car with steel/silicone or rubber gaskets you don’t need this product, it’s for old style paper and cork gaskets.

Dealing with gaskets that wont stay in place? Well, with this Spray-A-Gasket it will never move again! I used it for a replacement of my Transmission Oil Pan and my will be using it on my Oil Pan soon! Very sticky stuff! Spray it on, wait 5 mins and that surface will be sticky as crazy glue!
