Difficult to install with gas which we needed for our motorhome. Instructions very confusing and took a long time to find the right pieces. Flames are also very close together so cooking on both the same is only possible with small pots, not pans.

I received and am reviewing Gas Cooktop 12 Inch, Maharlika 2 Burner Propane Stove Bulit-in Gas Stove Top Stainless Steel, 12" Propane Cooktop NG/LPG Convertible Cooktops Dual Fuel, RV Stove Top with Thermocouple Protect This is a high quality compact gas cooktop. It exceeded my expectations and is a very good value. The cooktop is well made with 304, high quality, stainless steel with cast iron grates, with silicon feet, and burner caps. The large burner is especially nice for a cooktop of this size, most of which have only small and underpowered burners. I like that It can sit on a table with the built in legs, or can be inset into a countertop. A countertop cutout template is provided, another nice touch. The burner knobs are metal, and resistant to heat. Thermocouples make operation safer and prevent gas from flowing without a flame. That’s a nice safety feature since, if used outdoors, blowouts can easily take place with gas stoves. Note that it has automatic electronic ignition, which requires a power outlet. It can still be lit with a flame if no power is available. The box included the cooktop with cast iron double grate, a regulator and adapter, conversion nozzles for LP gas with a wrench and a installation guide. (See pics) I’ve never seen LP conversion nozzles and wrench included before with any, even very high end, cooktop. Natural gas nozzles are installed as default. No other gas connection tubing or fittings are included because the unique installation of each location requires different connections. If you are not familiar with installing gas cooktops, I recommend professional assistance. The only negatives for me are the cooktop arrived with a slight ding in the stainless top. (See pic) The factory packing placement of the included regulator was in a vulnerable place inside the box and it slightly dented the top. It’s minor. (See pic) Also, the nstallation guide is not clear, easy to read or to follow. I plan to use this cooktop in my outdoor kitchen and to store it indoors, which makes the ability to place on a counter an added bonus. I hope this information has been helpful. ... show more

I wanted to use LPG and this comes setup as a Natural Gas unit so have to convert. The directions are pretty vague and don't offer much so I didn't get to change it or use it just yet. I thought it would be a simple connection to my propane hose but nope not so simple. So its set aside for now so that I can work on it after I have my counter done. It only has the stove and regulator so you'll need to get any of the adaptors, hoses, etc. to complete this. I think the metal is pretty thin and looks to be easy to dent and probably will look pretty used in no time. Its not too expense so it may work out for someones needs. Just not sure I am going to keep this one or use it. UPDATE: I got immediate support from the company and they provided me with a much better illustration of replacing the nozzles for LP use. I determined that I was also missing one of the nozzles so they shipped me the missing one but what arrived was a whole set of LP nozzles in various sizes, which was very nice and even better. I appreciated the support and they fixed my issues with the product so I raised it to 4 stars for that reason. Seems to work fine and I am happy with the stove. ... show more
