  • Great bassinet, not great to assemble!
I really love this bassinet. The mattress came with a cute sheet, and it's firm but padded well so it doesn't feel like a brick. However putting it together wasn't without strife. Now that's is assembled it's great! But putting it together was a pain. Firstly the instructions are vague, parts aren't labeled and we kind of had to guess on which direction things went and which side. Secondly, not all of the pieces were well fitted. On the parallel bars that click into the footing, the plastic piece was malformed and too small for the metal bar that clicked into it. I had to reshape the foot of the bar with a rubber mallet and use a flathead screw driver to bend the plastic component enough to get the bar to fit inside of it. Other than that the only other quirk that concerns me is how large the warnings are on the bassinet. They're the size or a sheet of notebook paper and there's 2 of them. They aren't breathable material and I'm worried they pose a suffocation risk. I'm going to attempt to cut them out one stitch at a time. I understand warnings are important but two inside of the basket visually impairs the see through portion, and being on the side of the mesh looks like a suffocation risk to me. Other than these issues, for a brand I've never heard of the bassinet seems to be solid and very nice! I do love the basket underneath to keep bottles, and diaper changing supplies within an arms reach. I also like how it has matress anchors to convert into a bedside sleeper. I know we will get a lot of use out of this! It's larger than bassinet we've tried in the past, in a good way. My babies were too tall for the HALO for long, but this one will do nicely. The wheels are a great bonus too. 😄 ... show more

  • Great value
Does the job. Got this for a new grandbaby. Mommy nurses, it’s perfect for bedside. She can roll all around the house, keeping house. Very nice. Comfy for baby.

  • Perfect bed side bassinet
Overall: price point excellent, quality on point, picture accurate, and colors match. Pros: Easily put together, moderate weight (semi disappointed at delivery. Remake in cons.) picture matched finished product, put together in under 30 minutes, locking mechanisms work, horizontal rocking works, seamless rolling on wood and carpet, maintains level, does not tip easily, storage basket is useful beneath (no waisted space), neutral colors are in fact matching. Cleaning is easy, and not hard to remove mat. Cons: delivery box damage ( they damaged the box and made makeshift handles. Fortunately, the rain did not occur til later, otherwise material would have been damaged). requires an alternate changing location (when you need to change I’m not one for in the bassinet). Basinet storage but highly unlikely your going to tip out of bed to reach down (only useful for the swaddles, spare clothes, maybe the nappies or wipes. Not at the bend over heigh unless you over raise it. Would recommend for the bed side bassinet, walking to the other side of a home versus turning to the side to gently rock a newborn is a life saver. For the mom, its visually nice, moderate in size but as the baby grows it makes sense. For the cluster feeding baby, and the every 2 hour feeds this was useful. You can move it from room to room with ease, or maneuver from different levels of a home. Plastic (hard plastic not rubber) caster wheels, as we all know do not last forever when used on surfaces that are hard. They last longer if you clean them once a month. ... show more

  • Decent Bassinet for the price
There are no stores near us that have a variety of bassinets to see in person, so I spent copious hours researching on Amazon and YouTube knowing full well it wouldn't be that straight forward to return, also once the baby arrived, we'd likely be stuck with it. So here's my experience so far with our 2 week old. It was somewhat easy to put together, I like to think of myself as fairly handy, but I did struggle for a few moments with the subpar instructions to work out how and where some pieces fit. But it is tool-less, and the parts snap together satisfyingly, and seem easy to break down. Overall the materials are good and decent, but don't expect things to be uber amazing or high end, but everything seemed fair for the price. There were a couple of holes in the netting, but not enough for us to consider returning. Others might not be as forgiving though. The whole thing has a bit of play to it, it's not rock solid like ones that cost 2-3 times more would likely be, but I feel it's more than safe for the baby, I really can't see anything coming apart. In general it's doing the job I hoped for. Now the critiques. - Because the wheels are small, it's not super smooth over carpet, and due to the fairly wide base, it isn't as easy as I hoped to take from one room to the other. To the point we've just left it in the nursery with the baby's grandmother, originally I'd hoped to wheel it back and forth between rooms. But I'm now considering buying another basic bassinet for our bedroom. The wide base does of course help with stability, so I can't complain in this regard, but the Babyletto Yuzu is starting to look like an expensive but more practical alternative. - I feel these products are designed solely for beds that are elevated from the floor a few inches. We like keeping our bedsprings directly on the floor, so the bassinet doesn't come flush to the bed, there is a bit of a gap. So just FYI. This though brings me onto another critique, the side flap can take a bit of time getting used to in regards to detaching, the clips aren't super intuitive, especially if you're in a lying down position, it's a two handed job for sure. But if you don't plan on opening and closing frequently I don't see this being an issue. Other than these issues, I would say for the price this is a good buy. In terms of what would I buy for the 2nd bassinet, keeping in mind our baby is still only 2 weeks. Manual rocking seems to be a waste, and this could be specific to our child, either we are holding her, or she's asleep. Rocking seems to only disturb her. Maybe one of the auto rocking bassinets could help with her missing being held, but my gut feeling is it won't. I would likely just go for something that is sturdy and simple. Originally I kept a bedsheet wrapped around the provided mattress, but because it wasn't exactly level, we noticed our baby turning to her side while asleep. I've fixed it now, but I do constantly find myself putting a spirit level in there to make sure things are perfectly level. After using the medical grade bassinet in the hospital I can see the benefit of getting something that is just sturdy and flat, more than anything else. ... show more

  • has all you need for a bassinet, skip the expensive one
We love this bassinet and will have it for years to come! The rocking feature is amazing, it comes with a soft mattress to put baby in, it's made easily for you to take baby in and out with the zipper feature- keeping one portion open so that it's easy enough to comfort baby while leaving it open and still keeping baby safe. The compartment underneath is an added plus- with all the baby things, it was an easy place to stock extra diapers and wipes. My husband liked the look and how neutral it was for our room. It was easy to assemble and easy to disassemble and put back in the box, which to us is a huge plus since we want to have more kids but don't have the space to keep it fully mounted until we need it again. There are many more expensive options but you don't need it ya'll, go with this one. You won't be disappointed. ... show more

  • Functionality baby bassinet
I absolutely love this baby bassinet! First of all, the design is beautiful and modern, making it a perfect addition to our nursery. The assembly was incredibly easy, and it took me only a few minutes to set it up without any hassle. One of the best features is the wheels, which allow me to move it around effortlessly, whether I want to keep my baby close during the day or place it next to my bed at night. The wheels also have a locking mechanism, so I can secure it in place whenever needed. Another great feature is that the bassinet can gently rock, which helps soothe my baby to sleep. The overall build is sturdy, and the materials feel high-quality. I’m beyond happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it to any new parents! ... show more
