The hoist does the job, nothing fancy but lifted my hemi 5.7 about 6' when I pulled it. Oddly, the handle holder, a piece of pipe, welded to the frame is too small for the holder. Quality control? If you just need to pull a few engines, it works. Not commercial grade, but inexpensive.

a lot of chips and the boom is not square with the lower part so i hope it will be ok i would send back but its a lot of work to put together and i might end up with the same thing will up date after i try and use it to pull a 454 bbc ,,i should get a discount i hope for the problems we will see

Holes for support are not drilled, hardware is cheap. Welds at base snapped first use. Lucky no one got injured!! Save your money.
