This is a well built product. All frame joints have mechanical connections. Compared to several others I have owned, this one is by far easier to set up. My only negative feedback would be the anchoring hardware is subquality and I received no end walls despite the advertising and specifications stating there were "two zippered ends and two side walls with zippered windows". Also, the video reviews are not the same product. UPDATE: Garvee had been trying to contact me but I didn't see the message. They are sending me end walls that were not in packing. (I believe they were taken as the packing looked to be opened and retapped.) The anchoring hardware works however soil my region is either loamy or rocky clay. I have had anchoring problems with every shelter so I built rebar anchors and weights. I will add we had a very windy thunderstorm with heavy rain. This is the first shelter that I didn't have to reassemble and nothing inside got wet. Very well built solid frame. I will be a repeat customer, that is "if" I can wear out or break this shelter. It’s going to be awesome, we got it and now figuring out where to put it on our property. Arrived safely and all the parts are there, just need to make sure we don’t need to move it more than once when we put it on the property. Heavy duty materials and parts. The snow is about two days away for us is not the time to put up a carport, but as far as everything else it going to be fantastic once spring arrives to store our property equipment and machines. Update: This is a great heavy duty canopy top carport. I was actually able to put this together by myself. It did take longer than it would have with two people and a bit of strength to lift the corner poles to establish the support, but once the four corners were upright it went together nicely. I did beat the snow, but not the rain and so far the inside has no leaks and held up to wind and rain. The front side flaps do not completely close which is fine for release of moisture and also ventilation. Great purchase for the price and I do believe this carport will survive several winters and summers in the diverse WA weather. My only complaint would be the zippers are plastic and do snag and are not very high quality. Expect a large package… but worth it… We report back once we can get it up and installed…

For starters...you MUST anchor this into the ground. It weighs about 150lbs total, but a strong wind can still take it like a trampoline flying away. Especially with it being more boxy and topheavy. That said, this is extremely durable fabric. Almost like duck cloth with a weatherproof layer on the inside. Despite not being a had top, I'm actually pretty confident it'll survive moderate snow loads in the winter too as long as I keep it brushed off for the most part. As one person, I am 2 hours in so far on assembly and am waiting to finish entirely until one of my friends can come over and help. I'm a pretty strong person....put my own pergola together in 3 hours, and I can lift 200lbs....but this is NOT a 1 person job. Anyway, for under 500 bucks retail, this is incredibly good quality. I could not be any happier with this, and it's clearly built to last and something that will be able to stand up to moderate storms and again, even snow load I think. I ALWAYS come back and edit my reviews if something bad happens later (like collapse under snow) so if this doesn't change in the next 6 months....then yep, it's sturdy as all getout!

I ordered the GarveeLife 12x20 FT Heavy-Duty Carport in grey to place in front of our rear detached garage, which has become too full of equipment to park the car inside. I wanted to avoid another winter of dealing with snow removal every morning. The carport was delivered directly to our driveway, and it was well-packaged by the manufacturer. It's quite heavy. When I first unboxed it, I felt overwhelmed despite the included directions, which I found a bit confusing. I recommend setting aside an afternoon to assemble it unless you have prior experience because it took me and two friends quite some time. We set it up over my driveway, positioned in front of the larger garage, which is perfect because both ends are open for easy access. I hadn't considered the need to stake it down on both sides, so we appreciated the sandbags for the sections that abut a stone patio. The quality of the canvas met my expectations, and the windows allow light to enter when rolled up. We used the carport during our Fourth of July party as shade for tables and food, and it was a great addition! My RAV4 SUV fits easily underneath it as well. Overall, I am pleased with my carport so far, but I am curious to see how it holds up during a snowbelt winter!
