(Probably more like 4.5 stars) Overall I’m very pleased, I had half expected I would have to return it, but everything is actually quite great! I hate cheap looking printed/fake wood. While this doesn’t look like real wood, it still looks very nice and clean. It’s got a good amount of shine. Assembly was also surprisingly easy. It took me about 2 hours to do solo, it could probably be done quicker. There was one screw part that gave me an extremely hard time (pictured), but everything else was simple and the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The little compartments on the headboard and footboard are a little skinnier than I expected. I don’t think it’s an issue, but only about 2” in the opening. I also thought the mattress would sit down inside the wood on the sides than it does, but it’s more than none. It’s also got gaps on the side of the mattress… but I’m not sure if it’s my mattress or if this is a little too wide. Only complaints are the black screw heads are exposed. They do blend decently, but makes it a little cheaper looking than I could have. And the seams along the side boards aren’t perfect. There’s a slight gap, you can push it together but it’s definitely a noticeable space. I’m pretty happy with it! It’s been hard to find a low bed frame with a headboard and footboard without looking cheap or being way too expensive. Worth the money if it’s what you’re looking for!

The instructions were clear enough we didn't have too many issues putting it together. The only major issue with it is that the frame is an inch too wide and two inches too long for our twin mattress. It's also fairly easy to slide the mattress around since it doesn't fit on the frame. Other than this it is exactly as pictured.

This is a great bed for my 3-year-old. She is so excited to have a big-girl bed. Even though it's lower to the ground so that she can easily get in and out of it, it's still an upgrade from the toddler bed she was in previously. It did take me two hours to put together as I was doing it by myself, and the instructions DO say to have two people for assembly. That being said, the instructions are fairly clear. My advice would be to pay attention to the orientation of the boards in the pictures during assembly as it is easy to assemble them upside down or backwards. All pieces and hardware were included. There were even extra hardware pieces just to be safe. The bookshelves are a nice touch and my little on is so happy to have a place to put her bedtime stories. Although they are rather deep, so only to taller books peek out from the top in the headboard. At the foot of the bed the bookshelf is not as deep so the smaller books can be stored easily. We received the White bed whish goes really well with the rest of her room. The color is consistent throughout the whole piece of furniture. It's pretty sturdy and holds it's ground when my kiddos are being silly and jumping around. I really like that the mattress in set slightly inside of the bedframe so I don't have to worry about it sliding off over time. I also like that the sideboard goes all the way to the ground so that I don't have to worry about toys finding their way to the under-the-bed abyss. In total, this was a really good value for the product you are getting.

I ordered the Garvee Twin Bed Frame with Headboard & Footboard, and I was pleasantly surprised by how thoughtfully designed this bed is.
