What a nice surprise! Very compact machine. Runs quietly compared to others I've had in the past. Installed quickly and easily. Cooled the bedroom the moment we turned it on. Remote control functions take some getting used to. The design of the controls on top are easier to understand ama committee. No water leaks but then I live in Arizona. Let me start off by saying that it does accomplish what I bought it for, keeps my room nice and cool, and in the long run I am happy with it. However it is nosy as many others have pointed out. I went ahead and got this one anyways as I didn’t think it would brother me while sleeping. I do have to greatly increase my tv volume in order to hear it over the noise of this ac, which is not ideal. The major frustration for this ac unit was the installation. Pretty straight forward however in order for it to work with my window, the instructions wanted me to cut one of the window sealing plates, which is made of a hard plastic. So unless you have a saw that can cut through hard plastic you might need to improvise and use cardboard to seal the window the rest of the way as I had to. ... show more

I ordered this portable AC as an affordable option for extra cooling for a guest bedroom, and I’m happy with it. It’s easy to use and a good choice when you want cooling in a smaller space without installing a window unit. We have larger portable ACs that advertise similar square footage coverage, and I’d still use this one mainly in smaller closed-off rooms. That’s where it makes the most sense to me. I'm not sure if the power would really handle 350 sq ft, though I don't need it to. It seems well-made, and similar quality to name brand bigger units I have. Well worth the price if I get even a few hot seasons out of it. And it’s a handy unit to have when one area of the house needs extra help staying comfortable. ... show more

So I've just been really pleased with this brand of portable air conditioner that I now have two of them and they're both functioning super well. The 8000 BTU at this size is pretty impressive! I like that their models are taller but thinner. I feel like that really helps me get this thing into a position in the house while being able to hide it decently well. This is small enough that I'm able to put it behind my entryway door, and it's just made it really nice to be able to get AC in those little offshoot areas. The other one I have is in a server rack room inside of a closet, so it works really well there. They give you everything you need to get it hooked up, get it plugged in and working. The remote that comes with it works pretty well, no issues there. I haven't had to clean this out yet, so I'm not sure how that goes, but as far as actually cooling down the room, I've definitely noticed a significant increase there and the drop. I think at this price point it's a decent value for your money, and I would recommend it if you're in the market for a new AC. ... show more

This little unit is an absolute lifesaver. My office is relatively small but has massive windows, and I swear the sun just parks right outside them all day. By 10 AM, the room is easily 30 degrees warmer than it is outdoors. I desperately needed a solution, and this portable AC delivered exactly what I was hoping for. The ease of installation was fantastic. The included window kit fit perfectly, and I didn't need any extra tools to get the exhaust hose vented and secured. When it comes to cooling power, this machine is impressive. The 8000 BTUs rapidly dispel the intense heat, making the office comfortable in a matter of minutes. The overall functionality is top-notch. The remote control and timer are super convenient, and the dehumidifier mode works wonders on sticky, humid days.
