What an incredible purchase this piece of furniture has turned out to be. I purchased as a Christmas gift for my mother who has horrible back pain. She absolutely loves the heat and massage function. She doesn’t need the lift feature just yet but I can see how handy that will be in the future. Her only wish was that there was more massage up around the neck area. I would give this zero stars if it were possible. It wasn’t soft, has little support and you can feel the wood plank in the footrest. It’s awful. Just days after the return window was up, my chair started to fall apart. It tilts to one side so dramatically when you recline and then when you standup the chair tilts so hard to the other side. It moves so drastically I, a disabled woman, feel unsafe sitting in this chair. Amazon didn’t do anything to help. I was referred to the manufacturer and they have been bouncing me around and even after sending them a video, I’ve been waiting for days, but only sent from customer service to “factory support.” I reiterated multiple times that I wanted a refund and it’s not coming. The chair is functional, but has issues with the arms collapsing. For the price, the lift has been helpful for someone with mobility issues. The chair is smaller than expected. Easy to assemble. Fixing the arms does take 2 people every time they collaspe. The chair is not great quality, but good for temporary use. The best purchase I could have made. My 87 year old mother is having bad back issues. The chair can put her in a standing position and ease her back down. The vibration and heating option are helping with the pain as well. I want to say I am poor at putting things together. It was not too bad, someone with a better skills would have had no trouble. Terrible, cheaply made. Took 3 of us to put it together. Doesn’t stand you up all the way. Doesn’t lay you down all the way. I’m already looking for a new recliner.
