I'm 5'0", my husband is 5'11". So I wasn't kidding when I titled my review " Hobbit-size". My husband looked like a giant sitting in this recliner. First of all, it was easy to assemble. Only took him a few minutes. I've made him put together so much stuff over the years that he's practically on "assembly mode" all the time. Of course he sat on it first to break it in. I started laughing because it was too small for him. He said "nope". Then me AND the 14 lb furbaby tested it out. We both fit on it. Kinda difficult for me to push myself to lean back so the chair would recline (it's a no handle design). But after a few times, it gets easier. The furbaby didn't like being in that position or angle so he hopped over to the couch. Upright he was ok with it. The material is soft enough that he laid down to try and nap. Cushion is more on the stiffer side than soft or fluffy. Overall, ok. Good fit for more petite size. ... show more

Chair has been just as stated. Working good so far for my dad. Putting it together was a bit different from other chairs we have gotten, however hoping this lasts longer. Well coming back redoing my review! Dad had the chair 3wks and it stopped working! Literally it would not fold in the leg rests! Its currently in the backyard waiting to go to the dump! 3weeks!
