This Garvee Manual Recliner Chair is a very comfortable budget manual recliner chair. This soft gray recliner has durable corduroy fabric, a side pocket for small items, and a manual pull lever to the right on the seat area. It's made to support up to 330lbs - so it's not for a tall and big person but great for an average person. My only word of caution is when you go to unpack it, if it has a big plastic band around it - be careful. I did not know how much scraping that could do on wooden floors and made a drag line on mine! But that's just about the unpacking and setting up experience. The chair overall is a great budget recliner, it's comfy, and you can lay back in it 90-160 degrees.

This recliner is about what you'd expect for the price. It has to be assembled, and while it didn't take long, it just didn't seem like the parts would hold up. To recline, there's a plastic pull to the right of the seat cushion. It's a little difficult to operate, and to me, it's in an awkward place. Everyone in our family is 5'5" or under, and we live in a small house, so the size was good. It's not that comfortable though, even with all the cushions and padding. I can only sit in it for so long before my back starts to hurt. We'll use it for now, but probably end up replacing it with something more supportive and easier to recline.

Nice recliner chair. Came well packaged in a cube-shaped box. Assembly was very straightforward. The corduroy fabric feels soft and luxurious. I love the dark grey color that perfectly matches my sofa. It feels sturdy and robust. The size is good. The adjustment mechanism works well. My only complaint is that there is a slight gap between the seat and the back, which can be a bit uncomfortable after sitting for a long period. The price is decent for the quality.

I’ve been wanting a recliner for a while, and I’m already familiar with the Garvee brand, as I own several items from them and have been very happy with the quality. This recliner fit exactly what I was looking for. Assembly was very easy, with minimal parts, which I really appreciate. The corduroy-style plush fabric is incredibly soft and cozy, and it immediately makes the chair feel inviting. The size is just right — it’s not oversized, but still very comfortable. I’m on the smaller side (5’3”), and this fits me perfectly. My kids can even sit with me or curl up in my lap, which makes it great for reading or relaxing together. I also like that it doesn’t take up as much space as many recliners do, which is important in our home. It feels sturdy and well-made without being bulky. I chose the darker gray color (which I think is no longer available), and it will work beautifully in our space. This is a great option if you want a comfortable recliner without sacrificing space, especially for smaller rooms or apartments.

✳️Is this a high quality recliner? ❌Absolutely not, but it is what I expected for the price. ✳️Is the material nice? ✔️Yes it is! Soft, plush, wide corduroy with a velvet feel. ✳️Was it easy to assemble? ❌Nope. No instructions, just a box full of pieces and you have to play 'guess where this piece goes" to assemble it so it takes some trial and error. Also, the back is supposed to fit on two metal pieces that attach to the bottom and 'click' into place but it doesn't. It will come off very easily. The Velcro isn't heavy duty enough to hold the flaps down either so every time you open it you hear Velcro ripping apart and you have to smooth it back down. ✳️Does the recliner part work? ✔️Yes, it works with a pull cord beside your leg, not the handle on the side like traditional recliners. It also leans back slightly but not fully. ✳️ Are the measurements as described? ✔️ Yes, it's a smaller recliner with measurements exactly as described and fits perfectly in a small space. ✳️ Is it durable and will it last? ❎Yes and no, it's not very durable or sturdy but with careful usage, it can definitely last for several years. ✳️ Is it comfortable? ❎ Again, yes and no. It fits me well as I'm only 5'6 so it's comfortable for me but my 6'3 250lb husband looks like a giant in it and he does not think it's comfortable at all so it depends on your size. Overall, for the price this is a decent chair if you're under 5'9 tall and need a chair to put in a small space. I do intend to get a cover for it as the material will be hard to keep clean and will attract pet hair since it's so plush.

This is definitely a smaller recliner. It fits my shorter wife really well and she’s comfortable using it, but I’m 6 feet and a bigger guy and it feels a bit undersized for me. It was easy to assemble and went together quickly. If you’re smaller framed, it’s actually quite comfortable for lounging or watching TV. You can tell it’s a more budget-friendly chair, but the corduroy material is soft and cozy. It’s not the sturdiest chair, especially if you’re in the bigger side. But it would function well for a small room for smaller people. It looks nice, I got the gray color and it blends into most rooms easily with its neutral color. Overall it’s decent for the price, just know this isn’t a big oversized recliner.
