So I've just been really pleased with this brand of portable air conditioner that I now have two of them and they're both functioning super well. The 8000 BTU at this size is pretty impressive! I like that their models are taller but thinner. I feel like that really helps me get this thing into a position in the house while being able to hide it decently well. This is small enough that I'm able to put it behind my entryway door, and it's just made it really nice to be able to get AC in those little offshoot areas. The other one I have is in a server rack room inside of a closet, so it works really well there. They give you everything you need to get it hooked up, get it plugged in and working. The remote that comes with it works pretty well, no issues there. I haven't had to clean this out yet, so I'm not sure how that goes, but as far as actually cooling down the room, I've definitely noticed a significant increase there and the drop. I think at this price point it's a decent value for your money, and I would recommend it if you're in the market for a new AC.

I am so pleasantly surprised with the quality and functionality of this portable air conditioner unit. We have central air, but the place we live has the sensor in a downstairs hallway where it's always cooler than the upstairs, where the afternoon and evening sun shines so brightly in the back bedroom window. Thus, when it's 72 downstairs in the dark hall, it's as high as 82 in that room. We got this unit to cool down the bedroom at night and it's so perfect! We borrowed a big name brand unit last summer when our HVAC system went down and needed a replacement, and that was loud, the hose was short, and the window needed to be 1/3 open to accommodate the hose. This unit, for a much better value, is quieter, cools so much better, and is much easier to move, and only takes up a sliver of window area. We sleep so much more comfortably with this running, and it only takes maybe 15 minutes for a room that's about 14x16 to cool from 82 to 72. This unit is so impressive for its size! The hose was a challenge to get the ends in place because it's a thin cheap plastic with no metal fastening rings at the ends, but it's holding ok. I might consider replacing it eventually, but it's working fine. The remote makes it easy to adjust the temperature without getting up, but also, there's several functions that might help others that we don't need like dehumidifying and it can just work as a fan. We have only used this on low, even when it was 82 outside, but it also has a high setting. It also has a timer function, which we also don't use, since our preference is set to a temperature threshold. Definitely an excellent value for this price point.

This little unit is an absolute lifesaver. My office is relatively small but has massive windows, and I swear the sun just parks right outside them all day. By 10 AM, the room is easily 30 degrees warmer than it is outdoors. I desperately needed a solution, and this portable AC delivered exactly what I was hoping for. The ease of installation was fantastic. The included window kit fit perfectly, and I didn't need any extra tools to get the exhaust hose vented and secured. When it comes to cooling power, this machine is impressive. The 8000 BTUs rapidly dispel the intense heat, making the office comfortable in a matter of minutes. The overall functionality is top-notch. The remote control and timer are super convenient, and the dehumidifier mode works wonders on sticky, humid days. The noise level is totally manageable for a workspace, providing a steady white noise that doesn't disrupt phone calls or meetings. Given its compact size, easy mobility on the caster wheels, and how well it combats the greenhouse effect in my office, the value for money here is outstanding.

I've used Garvee products for a long time and this is as great of a product as their others. I like that this is tall and slim. It saves on floor space. Our old one was big and bulky so we definitely gained a little extra room with this. It's fairly quiet and was very easy to set up. I like that you have the option to use it as an air conditioner, dehumidifyer, or just a fan. With 8k BTU of power, the airflow is great. I can feel it all the way across our room. I like that it has a remote too. The controls are very easy to understand and the buttons all work every time you push them.

This garvee system works really well so far, it's a portable unit on wheels that has a window kit. You can't just set it up anywhere You do need some kind of vent. It's pretty easy to set up, and it works with most types of windows. The cooling performance is great and it could definitely cool a whole room quite quickly and efficiently. The noise level is relatively quiet, it's definitely more quiet than some of the window units that I've had. I like this because window units always make me nervous, and it really blocks a lot of the window which I don't like, this unit does allow more light in. The appearance is pretty nice, it looks pretty modern and although it is on the larger side in terms of just having something in their room, having a cool room in the summer is just so important I don't even care and I like that at least tries to look sort of nice!

This portable AC worked really well for our back room. It puts out cold air fast - it actually reaches farther than I thought it would, so the whole space feels better instead of just the area right in front of it. I like that it’s on wheels and easy to move around, and the window hose setup did a good job keeping the hot air outside once it was in place. The remote really comes in handy when you’re across the room, and the controls are simple enough even for my grandmother to use. Only small con is like most portable units it’s not silent, but it’s been totally worth it for the cooling.
