I ordered this on May 30th. It didn't arrive until June 5th. As of the time of posting, it is June 24th. I've had this portable A/C for under 3 weeks. In this three weeks, I have: 1.) Discovered that the window seal that is provided was too large and needed to be trimmed down. No big deal, that was easily handled, I expected that because it's an older house with those narrow windows that are skinnier than modern standard. 2.) Discovered that the hose is ridiculously short. Short enough that you actually struggle to get it outside unless you almost turn the unit sideways. It's supposed to be portable so you can turn it around freely. If you're gonna make the water hose short, shorten the air hose too. It makes installation a nightmare having to deal with an air duct that's too long and a water hose that's too short. 3.) This one is the big one. The compressor on mine has already died. The noise it's making is sort of a whining, droning sound that you can hear over the usual fan noise when you're standing next to it. And it's clearly the compressor because it's blowing warm air and the evaporator isn't getting cold to the touch when you take off the air filters. Yeah, kinda regretting my purchase. Now I have to spend the money on another unit. Bought it because it was cheap, buying a second time because it already broke. Definitely got what I paid for... Update: Garvee replaced my unit! They reached out when they learned I had a poor experience and actually replaced my unit. This one's the same model and everything, but it seems quieter somehow. Maybe the old one was just a dud from the factory, or they updated the design internally to make it quieter? Feels like it's blowing colder, too.

I know its for a 750 sq ft room but this machine has made my entire first floor cool. We have a 3 bedroom, washing room, kitchen and living room on the 1st floor. We places this in the living room and it has cooled down all the rooms during this summer. This is worth the product and highly recommend it.

If I could give this zero stars I would. Pipe is super filmsy, window panel is not easy adjustable. The nos won’t even stay attached to the window panel. And to make matters worse they sent me a guide that does not match this unit. Circular design for the exhaust pipe makes it limiting to each a window and then the pipe will pop out. Cheap parts make this unreliable. Now I have to figure out how to get this thing back down a flight of steps for a refund.

So far so good. I put it out in the garage to cool my workspace off during the summer. It pumps out cold air like crazy and cooled the garage off in about a half hour during a 100°+ day. Plug and play out of the box and not loud either. I did cut a vent in the wall for the exhaust, which is pretty much mandatory. It’s a game changer around here.

Sigh, im seriously so sad because I have no idea what it'll take to make my apartment cool, and for $300 I thought I had a solution but sadly not. First of all, the setup was not very friendly. I recommend leading the hose from the AC to the window FIRST before assembling the rest of the pieces. The reality is you wont lock the pieces in first try, and inevitably you will have to adjust where you want the AC, and the hose does not take friendly to that, it will make your life hell for a bundle of minutes if you dont already know where you want everything to be or else it will unlatch. Then you will have to undo pieces to redo them. Secondly, unfortunately the heat that it emits from the hose makes it so much hotter. Does not matter if you set it to 61 degrees, the heat that comes from it makes the room hot so it is counter-intuitive. Yes, you might "save money" from an AC like this, while a window AC may cost more, it will actually make your room home cold since you don't have to deal with a hose. I have a 500 sqft studio, this claims "14k BTU" technically "10k", which should cover atleast 600 sqft. It does not. There are people ranting and raving that it cools their space in an hour..it's been 2 hours for me. With an air circulator, and a tower fan. And I am so much hotter. I almost want to cry at how much I wasted my precious time. I got off of work, expecting a solution, spending $300, setting this up, just for my home to be hotter. I am ashamed of this product and myself for buying it. I don't even know what to do.

Works perfectly. Other AC’s I’ve used required excessive draining but I’ve had this one running for 48 hours straight and no drainage due to the self evaporation. This AC unit is definitely worth the money compared to most I’ve tried.
