So much better than other dry texture spray, even the really pricey ones! Granted, the price of this product has really increased, but I'm willing to pay it because this doesn't turn my hair into a brillo pad when I use it. I can go my usual 2 days between shampoos, and it holds my hair but stays soft. I wish it was more readily available in stores and online.

Fructis line curl products generally work really well on my fine, thin, high porosity hair. I bought this texturing to have dry texturing to use in spots where my hair goes flat, like at the crown. This works well and the only reason for 4 stars is that it seems to have a slight drying effect on my hair, but otherwise it is a good product and I will keep it around!

I had high hopes for this product. I thought it was going to perform way better than it does. It starts off adding some body and texture, then shortly after it falls flat. I do not know what else to do. I do not want to tease my hair to make the body stay. While I have thick, long, multi textured hair (loose waves, some curls), I have used it primarily when styling my hair into a simple pony tail. I like to have a little ooph in the hanging part. Same when I am doing a simple side braid- I want the braided part to be not too neat, yet have some hold and fullness. I think I bought it in a 2 or 3 pack, so I will certainly be using this up for some time. Maybe I just need to use more of the product, which I will try. That is, if I can get past the odor. It is wickedly strong! It will certainly freshen up your hair, and it will also scent up your living space. It is so strong that my dogs leave that side of the house. You definitely need some air flow- preferably an open window, or exhaust, maybe a fan. Please don't stand in a small area and breathe it in. It is pretty intense. I'm really rating it on the noxious odor more than anything.

Still haven't found a texturizer that works so well with my fine hair at such an amazing price I started using this for a while and was using Not Your Mother's Texturizing spray but that has been hard to find lately and when I do find it, I refuse to pay the price these websites are trying to charge, so I remembered having used this and when I saw the price, I had nothing to lose even if it wasn't what I was looking for but when I received it, I can't imagine why I switched to another brand that d pricier! This works perfect. It really gives my fine, Thin hair great texture and volume. It allows me to style my hair in ways that would be impossible if I didn't use it because this gives the grip and flexibility I need to maneuver it into different up dos. I love that it's buildable and I can spray more on places I need to without my hair becoming becoming stiff and hard. Won't be making the mistake of switching brands again! I've been through many texturizing sprays to find one that works best with my thin, fine hair and I've finally found it! It works great in so many different ways. When I do my hair in an up do I use dry shampoo to give it some grip but it isn't the same as this type of product. For one in my life I'm able to do a top knot that looks like I have twice the amount of hair I have. I use the texturizing finishing spray near the crown of my hair if I want some lift there when pulling it back or I'll just spray my pony tail and backwards it a little and I can do a top knot that looks full of volume, just the right amount of messy and then I use Tigi Glossing Spray so that the sides, front, and back of my hair look sleek and shiny in contrast with the tousled top knit and I love it! Works the same with a low side bun or low bun at back of my neck. Best of all, I do use a Curling iron, straightener, and deep waver (never at same time lol) and after I let my style set, I LIGHTLY spray this on my hair more on the roots and it gives me lift and hold without tackiness and without the look like I just stuck my head out of the car window going 100mph like my last Volumizing texturizing spray. A little goes a long way and again any parts that I want more Shiny and sleek or if I accidentally over spayed the texturizer... The Glossing spray fixes that. My search is over and I highly reccomend this to people who are cursed with my type of fine, soft, thin, hair. And if it doesn't give you the hold you want without overspraying... Just follow up with a very light finishing hair spray.
