I've been using this gel for a few years now. Of all the gels I've tried, this seems to be the best (and least expensive) way to form curls in my wavy/curly hair. I put it in damp hair, scrunch and let air dry. It does result in a bit of a "crunch," but that goes away once I re-scrunch my dry hair. I do use another product in my dry hair to give it some volume and bounce, but this gel is an important part of my hair routine. The scent is pleasant enough and doesn't linger. ... show more

It’s smooth and not sticky. Doesn’t make it sticky or hard. Works well for curls that you want to stay natural yet not unruly. I got 3 because I know it’s good stuff and my hair is longer, thick as hell, and curly curly frizz n more curls. Makes it more even than most.
