My Garmin Stryker works flawlessly and is easy to use. All of the functions work, but I use the traditional imaging most. I'm still learning the side scan. I'm mapping my lake as I fish, because I can't upload any other users maps or any upgrades. This is because I have an older Android phone and this graph doesn't work with the older version phones. When I get a new phone hopefully someone out there has uploaded their maps of my lake and I can quit doing all this mapping. ... show more

Great fish finder for the price. I use it mainly for spoonbill snagging. Very easy to identify spoonbill from other fish with the downscan feature.

If you are looking for a budget fishfinder that is packed with features, this is it! Clearvu give you an excellent view of what structure really looks like and can be used in conjunction with traditional sonar to help pinpoint fish. I recommend searching up 1cast1fish on YouTube where he explains everything you need to know about using the garmen 4 vivid and how clearvu and traditional sonar works. This fish finder has put me right on the fish and it feels like cheating! Disclosing my bias, this is my first fish finder and i through around the idea of buying a cheaper walmart fish finder, but i have no regrets paying an extra 50$ to get this unit that has clearvu and gps database to be able to mark the fishing spots. Don’t waste your money on the cheap 100$ fishfinders at walmart and buy this or the higher model instead. A drawback for some maybe the small screen size, but i have absolutely no issue with it.
