The time function works fine The GPS function for tracking and speed takes a long time to start then cuts out midway through my workouts. Amazon customer service was no help and no return or refund is available AND this is my second Forerunner 45 with the same issue. I did manage to return the first one hoping it was a unique problem. I like this watch way better than my fitbit. I love that I can swim, run, and just wear it. My only complaint is when I select other and change the activity it does not edit the calories burned to match. I have an awesome range of activities and I would love to accurately track my outgoing energy.

I'm very pleased with the size and color of my Forerunner 45 watch. It has several options that I use daily. I can use it to track my runs, my daily steps when I'm at work, read my texts or message alerts from my phone apps, check my HR, set a daily alarm to wake me up in the morning, see the name and number of person who's calling, or select/follow a running program. It has a more bels and whistles than what I'm used to since the previous Garmin watch I had was the Forerunner 15L. Even though I have a very small wrist, I still had to get the larger face because I of my poor vision. I do wish the battery life was a little bit longer than 6-7 days but I guess it would last longer if I didn't have the GPS on all the time. Also for the price I shouldn't complain. The product was delivered by the seller in a timely manner but the cover for the watch face that was included with the package was too big and I had to return it to the seller. I did get reimbursed for the problem and I would buy again from the seller again ... show more

I would rather risk the Bluetooth EMFs with my FB Inspire 3 that use this Garmin FR45. I admit I'm not a digital wizard but the 5 button hunt and peck is a big mistake for seniors. The battery needs charging after 3 days tops, Fitbit 7-9 days easy. I'm a boater and think the world of Garmin marine electronics so I tried the FR45. Buy Fitbit. ... show more
