  • Best watch ever!
This watch does nearly everything I want it to be able to do. Aside from not being able to respond to texts, and let’s be real disconnecting a little from technology isn’t a bad thing, I am more than happy with my purchase. I climb mountains and am in the back country A LOT. This watch tracks your trail in the hiking widget and helps guide you back to your steps should you get lost and need to bush-whack. The altimeter is mostly accurate but not bad for a wearable. There is so much data for all you data lovers out there. The battery life is exquisite and the watch itself is beautiful. I might be jaded because of coming from an Apple Watch 3 series but I hands down would recommend this to family, friends, and strangers alike. Thank you Garmin. Love you long time. ... show more

  • Love it, best watch!
Love it!!! The best watch I had so far and I had a Fitvit, Galaxy watches with the latest Active 2 being replaced by this beauty. So many functions and training tools, it's worth every penny. No regrets. And battery life is amazing. My 6s lasts 4 days with full use.

  • Excellent and versatile watch for app exercises
Tracks all my exercises and gives a good summary of my fitness. Only con is having to recharge once every one or two days since I enable moveIQ and gps.

  • Love the Fenix Sapphire
Is the Fenix 6 sapphire expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Depends. I'm not a talented runner, but I am a serious runner. I plan to try some runs off the beaten path, so the downloadable maps is a great feature. The battery has been rock solid, even through 20-mile training runs. I find the HR sensor to be a little more variable than my Forerunner 235, and the pulse ox is consistently lower than my finger pulse ox (asthma, so). If anything it may read my RHR a little high - my Forerunner was spot on with medical grade measurement. Ex, the 235 would have my RHR at 52 and 47 at night, the Fenix 6 is 56, 54 at night. So if you train by heart rate, just a heads up. It's easy to use, fairly intuitive, and has features I'm still figuring out. I do think it kind of sucks that I have to put songs on the watch to control it, vs the 235 where I could go forward/back without that. The sapphire glass of the 6 sapphire is AWESOME. No scratches, no chips, nothing - and no cover required. So the Fenix isn't cheap, but this was a gift to myself and I love it. ... show more

  • Best triathlon watch
This watch takes triathlon training to the next level. Run and bike tracking is unmatched, especially when you pair it with the HRM Tri band and the Garmin bike sensors. Battery lasts a long time for a smart watch, usually several days depending on how much GPS you are using.

  • Wish I wouldn't have waited so long!
I haven't even begun to figure out all of the awesome things this watch does. I am not a techy at all and was worried I'd never be able to figure this out; while I don't have it all down by any means, it is much easier than I thought. I love how it helps me train for my goals. It does everything other fitness trackers do and more and better. Don't let the price scare you it is worth every penny! I wish I would have just bought this one a long time ago. Also I was worried about the size and my small wrist but it is absolutely no problem. ... show more

  • Great watch, heart rate a bit off
I'm a marathon runner and rely heavily on my Garmin watches. I upgraded from the Fenix 5S mainly for the music. I was waiting for a music model who's battery could handle GPS and music for longer than four hours. So when this was released, and the GPS plus music battery life was ten hours, I decided to upgrade. I've used the music option with both Spotify and iTunes and both worked. I was able to connect my Powerbeats quickly and easily. As far as the heart rate goes, it is definitely off. My Fenix 5S was more accurate. So if you rely heavily on heart rate info, I wouldn't recommend this watch. I also feel like the sleep stages timeline on the Garmin connect app was a bit more accurate on the 5S than this watch. Overall, I'm pleased with the watch and am happy I have it. ... show more

  • Perfect Upgrade
I went from a Fitbit Ionic that stopped working on me to this Garmin and it is everything I could have hoped for and more. Battery life is much better. Tracking is light years ahead, and the apps are much better. I am so glad I purchased this Garmin. It is also beautiful and I love wearing it to work where it looks like a classic, beautiful watch. ... show more
