I purchased the OTR700 mostly because I trust GARMIN. I use it mostly while driving a truck, but there is an option for cars so you do not have to use strictly "Truck Routes" with this unit. It has worked flawlessly. It is easy to set a new destination and just as easy to save any that I may use again. Buying the bundle was a good choice to get the extra memory and carry case, but the dual USB/12 volt adapter does not work. I needed to go out and find one that would work right. ... show more

This is a great product for truck drivers. Live traffic is wonderful, the only things I dislike is that I wish the time would display what estimate time of arrival.

    • Not entirely Perfect but Great. Use for OTR.
Definitely worth the money hands down. However, when it's done mapping your route, make sure to verify on Google maps that it's heading to the same direction/location as google maps. In the time I had it it's mislead me or taken me to the wrong place 3 times, once leaving me out in the middle of nowhere in North Dakota. However map updates are free with wifi and aside from the minor kerfuffles it's definitely a great addition to my success as a truck driver. Accurate ETA's. I use for OTR. ... show more

The GPS has worked great! I use it for trucking OTR and it's very accurate. It tries it's best to find alternative routes when needed. Would 100% recommended. Great features.

    • Still bad. not worth the money. Try trucker path for up to date maps.
Oregon truck speed limit was increase in 2017. This unit has 2020 updates n it still has the 55mph. Very dissaponited. This is only one of the complaint. There is a ton still to list.
