Bought this so my Aera 660 would be hardwired to the GDL 39, plus provide power to both. Remove the old cradle from your existing Aera 660 mount and screw this one on. You will need a regular phillips screw driver, and a very small one for the wire clamp. I may have mis-read the instructions (and it was about a hundred degrees in the plane when I was installing it). I was not able to mount the GPS in Portrait mode, just Landscape. The holes don't line up in the mount for Portrait, and my yoke doesn't allow me to change the mount position. Other than that, works as advertised. ... show more

    • Overpriced and cheaply built
The cable does not have a strain relief on it so it will pull out from the gps mount with light effort. Very expensive considering it’s made to the same standard as low end consumer electronics....
