This costs very little compared to most rugs, so if you are realistic about that you're less likely to be disappointed. The first clue is that it arrives folded (not rolled) in a modest-sized package. It's thin and flimsy, more like a mat than a proper rug. After a week it's still showing the folds (see pic). The other thing you might find useful to know is that despite the foregoing I have ordered a second one of these. It works well in my dog's room, which is where she sleeps. I bought this rug four or so years ago to use in my kindergarten classroom. The quality was great and it held up like a champ. However, I decided to replace it after a school year with a student who had a vomiting problem. Yikes. No amount of cleaning made me feel good about keeping the rug… I needed a new one. lol So I came to Amazon to buy it again. This time, I was immediately disappointed. The quality seemed far less than the first time I bought this rug, but I had waited too long to return it by that point. I decided to keep it at home and use it in my home office because I was afraid it would get destroyed at school pretty quickly. It’s a good thing I made that decision because within TWO MINUTES of putting it down on my floor, it already at 14 snags from my dogs walking across it. FOURTEEN SNAGS. I have Chihuahuas with short nails. Not gigantic dogs or even dogs with long nails. They couldn’t even walk across it without snagging the rug and getting their toenails caught. It is exactly what I wanted, however I received this with quite a large snag. Returning a rug would be a huge hassle on my part. Quality control issue, should not send out a product that has a large flaw in it especially a large item not easily returnable.
