We bought this 3 years ago. It has survived many snowstorms and a lot of wind. Yesterday during a massive wind storm with gale force winds, a part of a tree fell on it. This carport held up the fallen branch and stopped damage to our roof, siding, the car under the carport, and a fence. My chickens are spoiled! I wanted them to have someplace to perch and hangout during the day and in inclement weather. But I have a lot of chickens. So I bought this carport aka Club Chicken. It was easy to assemble. Once I laid out the pieces my son and I took only 30 minutes to assemble. It was very tall and I wanted to be able to maintain the roosts so I dug 1 foot deep post holes and lowered the unit. This also helped with sturdiness during the recent wind storm last week. Once everything was secured I added in the straw and the roosts which btw are hung from the frame which easily holds the weight of the beams and my chickens. I open the windows for a cross breeze and my cluckers are happy. Yes I know it’s a carport but they’ll never know the difference. I would not recommend it for a coop since it would take a bit to predator proof it. But for safety during a storm or a warm place on snowy days this is perfect. My girls would agree. Update- through all of the storms we have had in the last two years my carport is still up. It is weathered and there are a few tears mainly from accidents not from poor material. I would like to get a replacement canopy without having to buy the whole thing again. I am actually surprised that it has gone through all it has. As long as it is anchored well this thing will hold up to high winds. Our latest storm had straight line winds of 70 mph. ... show more

The box arrived damaged on both ends. Thankfully, all parts were there and not damaged. This is a well made shelter we will use for our goats. Nice to have sides for winter. VERY well made.

Great looking Garage. I added cross struts to stabilize since I did not use the Guy wires to tie it down, I used asphalt anchors. It is a little smaller than 10' x 20' but since I installed this at work to keep the sun off of my Jeep Grand Cherokee I don't usually have passengers. So I park close on the passenger side and that gives plenty of room to get in and out on the drivers side. I highly recommend using cross braces to reduce the swaying back and in forth during windy days and I also removed the "push lock buttons and drilled through the poles and added 1/4" bolts, washers and lock nuts that really stiffened everything up. ... show more

Flimsy and would not hold up to any mild wind. FFF grade I waited too long to return it so I gave it away. I did not want this to blow over and damage my car or my neighbors car or home.

Unpacked the Carport yesterday to check that all the parts were there, as the box was pretty badly beaten up and re-taped, and everything was there but 1 (one) nut for the bolt that connects a leg pole to a foot piece. Other than that, everything was there and it all looks like it will be easy to put together. The sides and top look to be a good quality medium weight material, but we shall see once it is up and in the weather. I will come back with an update once we've used it a bit. ... show more

I bought this because of the reviews. I wasnt expecting much from these portables. Mine survived high wind and ice here in the Hill Country Texas. Unfortunately, i think the sun beat it to heck after 2 years. The plastic covering was crispy dry so if you pulled on it, it would rip apart. This was affected in some areas of the cover itself depending on the direction on sun exposure. I had a good 2 years of use out of it. This was used temporary for my boat. Pictures show overgrown veggies because it has been unused for half a year or so. Upon disassembly, some of the welds popped off the joints. Yes they were cold welds. But only because of these high wind storms we have here in Texas. There were slight indications of rust also. I'm keeping the frame just in case I ever need it again. The broken joints I will reweld. I think these carports will work best in the shade if you plan to get one. Or be ready to replace the cover after 2 years of use which isn't bad at all. ... show more

    • Amazing product and outstanding customer service
I erected this by myself and doesn’t take too long and very well built and high quality construction. I used the pegs to hold down but because lots of rain, the soil was soft. The the gale force winds hit and it blew about 40’ away and a bunch of the poles and connectors broke and the top ripped. My fault for not bolting it down securely. I reached out to customer service to buy replacement parts and not only did the give the parts to me for free, but shipped them quickly. You have a loyal customer for life and I’d highly recommend to my friends to buy from this company ... show more
