  • Too good to be true?
Style: X50S Camo
It's too early to celebrate...but I may have just found the best trail camera for the money. I have tried Tactacam, moultrie, spypoint, and now gardpro. The tactacams are great but the cost of the camera up front is a little steeper than I'd like. Spypoints are cheap but unreliable and their picture quality is lacking on the cameras that I've run. Moultrie is reasonably good, but their data plans start at $10 which simply isn't worth it when I only get 200-500 pics per month. GARDEPRO, so far, checks all the boxes. Inexpensive cameras up front. Inexpensive data plans. And zero issues so far. Can't say enough good things about them so far. Running them in the video lite mode is the way to go! ... show more

  • The best non-expensive trail camera hands down.
Best trail camera hands down for the price and I've owned many. I have about 10 trail cameras top name brands like Moultrie, Muddy, Wildgame, Stealth cam, Reconyx, blah blah blah you name the whole shabang and a bunch of other Chinese knock offs like "HAWKEYE" from Amazon that I've had to throw away over the years.....but this one has me surprised. I purchased both the E5 and another non-wifi version in 20 mega pixel quality that is a 2021 version and both are better than all those that I have even those at a similar price from Dicks or Tractor supply. The quality is VERY good when you put it at max quality even at night. It can take a combination of Videos (5 or 10 sec.) and Photos. I've had the camera out for 1month and have had over 3000 photos and videos combined and not one little bar of battery has gone away, it is still fully charged. The other brands especially that HAWKEYE brand that I purchased on Amazon by now would have a lower battery because they are so battery demanding for absolutely no reason, not to mention it got water within a month and I had to throw that one away. This GardePro doesn't even get fog on the lenses...it's incredible. The other exceptional thing I love from this camera is the simple ease of use. It has a very good display and interface that is not too fancy and gets the job done. I have a little lock on it plus the camera itself is programmed with a 4 digit code so no one can touch the settings. The best part of it all is you just slide the button to off, do a SD swap and slide it back to ON and press start. That's it. Good to go again. You have a 30 sec. or 20 sec delay until your camera starts to take pics and videos again. The battery level is very easily displayed in the bottom corner. If you don't like overcomplicated trail cameras then this is a very good camera and the quality is not any different than those $100 plus. PLUS you won't have to spend another $100 in batteries to keep it running like those remote cellular Moultrie cameras that it's sole purpose is to not have to go get the SD card yet you still have go replace the batteries every couple weeks because the cellular plan drains the battery. It's a joke. Stick to this one. It's a winner in my book. Those who say otherwise about this camera still need some time to experience how worse the other cameras are. ... show more

  • Good cellular camera
Style: X50S Camo
Inexpensive camera that will let you know what's out there. $10 a month that you can start and stop as you want, which is cheap compared to some. Pictures are not the best quality but you can see the critters and count the point on a deer. Not good for video, its a slow multi frame video. Hooks to any cellular network, if you have cell service you will get pictures sent to the app. Best to use 8 lithium batteries, it will last from September to January, regular AA batteries last about 4 weeks. ... show more

  • I would not even buy again!
Style: X50S Camo
I purchased two of these which are not too expensive yet are not cheap. You have to pay per camera the price you think you are paying in trial period. It gives you two options for set up. I decided to try cellular for both so I can be alerted when the deer are on the property and what areas for me to feed them. And to see what rodent was making noise under my house. The night vision does great! The battery life Sucks so bad! The first night and the batteries are dead on one camera. Every time I add new batteries they die within 12-24 hours. The other camera doesn’t hold as bad but it doesn’t hold very good either. (maybe I got a bad set)? I don’t know as they are the first cameras I’ve had. During the trial period I was not able to even get the amount of pictures it said I had. The lag in between sending me the photo of the animal captured on camera was just so far off even though I reset it several times. The location for each camera did not show their location of my property! It showed my phone location! (I know where my phone is, in my hand checking the cams)! After the trial period I paid whatever it charged and it sucked! I now have to pay two different prices, not as a combined price I was given during trial period. The cameras did not pick up on any of the animals. When the pay period was over, I decided I would not pay for bad service to know where my phone is as it was tracing my phone location! So, there was no way to use WiFi after paying! I tried to reset and reboot, but because I had previously registered to pay for service I’m out of luck! My advice to others is use WiFi! Stay on WiFi! But hey, maybe I’m outright stupidly and just don’t know how to use it right nor understand the bundling of cameras in one pay debit? Maybe there was some fine line in there I didn’t read? No idea but I don’t care to make time to check it all either. The plus was the night vision, and finding out what was under my house. ... show more

  • Got money buy it.
Style: X50S Camo
The camera was awesome!!! But as many pictures that I take it was above expensive. I get about 500 or more a week. The use of the camera while I had it was great. The pics came through on my phone as they were taken. The WiFi antenna was really great.
