I've had my Garden Cube for about a year now, and it still works great! It's easy to use, simple to set up, and the plants grow so quickly you'll be lifting the light stand in a week or two. The food is sensibly packaged with tops that double as measuring cups, so there's no problem maintaining a good water/nutrition level - you just mix the food in water and pour it in. My first 'crop' were herbs, and now I'm growing violas. They look just beautiful spilling over the sides and turning their little faces to the light. Both the herb/veg setting and the flower setting have performed well, producing big healthy long-lived plants both times. I use filtered water for mine since we have hard water here, and the pump is still going strong. These do work well. I can say it germinated my lettuce seeds fast.. I made my own holder out of a plastic bottle and they sat inside perfectly. I just recommend getting the liquid fertilizer to keep plants growing healthy.. I'm very happy with purchase

This is the first time I’ve purchased this brand of pods. I love how cheap this kit was for everything that it included. It was a great buy. However, I followed the instructions and my seeds will not grow. Am I doing something wrong? I soaked the sponge and seed for 15-20 mins before putting the seed in the pod. But they still look the exact same. I usually buy Aerogarden brand pods and have never had an issue. I’m giving the seeds a little longer to see what happens. Works good. Came up quicker than Aerogarden planted at the same time and grew well. I planted basil, dill and oregano. Dill grew really fast and I kept cutting it. Makes nice dip, add a little fresh garlic in a pint of sour cream and lots of chopped dill.
