The sponges are great, the domes - while they don't click on - are the right size, the cages are just right, the stickers adhere perfectly, and the tweezers were a really nice addition. I have not tried the nutrients because I typically use liquid nutrients, but the kit was worth it even without the nutrients.

I love this so much! I struggle to grow things and this was so easy! My whole family has been amazed watching my little kitchen garden grow. We love to cook with fresh herbs and this has been the best addition to my kitchen yet! I have lettuce, parsley, mint, basil, and cilantro growing fresh right in my kitchen now! I've had my Garden Cube for about a year now, and it still works great! It's easy to use, simple to set up, and the plants grow so quickly you'll be lifting the light stand in a week or two. The food is sensibly packaged with tops that double as measuring cups, so there's no problem maintaining a good water/nutrition level - you just mix the food in water and pour it in. My first 'crop' were herbs, and now I'm growing violas. They look just beautiful spilling over the sides and turning their little faces to the light. Both the herb/veg setting and the flower setting have performed well, producing big healthy long-lived plants both times. I use filtered water for mine since we have hard water here, and the pump is still going strong. It's a great value for money and a nice way to have fresh herbs or flowers wherever you want them.

We use this garden cube kit for our Aerogarden. Most of the seeds worked but some of them did not work. For the ones that worked, the basil seeds and the mint seeds grew really fast and tall.
