The kneeling pad comprises two foam pads and a plastic honeycomb support. The plastic honeycomb cracked and is useless. The tool caddies were useful, but the sewn seams split apart. My tools are normal and I weigh160 pounds. This item will not withstand normal use by a normal sized person. I added the material below after submitting my first review. I see that another reviewer suffered the same problem with a broken plastic honeycomb. I had some spare wooden remnants available, and am handy with an electric saw, so I make a repair and am sharing it with others whose kneelers have broken. Here is the process, step by step: 1. Remove the foam pads, carefully pulling them away from the plastic honeycomb. They are glued on. You will need them again. 2. Cut two pieces of wood, preferably 3/8" thick or thicker, to the same size as the foam pads. 3. Align one piece above the honeycomb, and one piece below. 4. Fasten these together by using four to six bolts and nuts or wood screws to make a wood sandwich around the honeycomb. Be sure to select hardware that does not extend beyond the wood, chamfering the wood as necessary to prevent the hardware from protruding. It is convenient to use 6/32 or 8/32 threaded hardware which can be trimmed to a shorter length with an electrician's terminal crimper, or just purchase a suitable length from a hardware store. 5. Reinstall the foam pads above and below the wood sandwich. I used duct tape, which works quite well. Or find a suitable glue at the hardware store. I found that I had the right tools and materials in my workshop. If you have to shop for the repair materials, it is a tossup if the repair saves enough to justify the cost of materials. In any case, I did not have to add the kneeler to a landfill. ... show more

Very disappointed. One of the most expensive kneeler. Sturdiness was a selling point. It failed in in 5 weeks. Sandwiched between the cushions is this piece of plastic support which gave way making the kneeler unusable.

This is the second kneeler we bought. The first one is in our garage broken. Beneath the foam pads is a plastic grid that supports the pad when you kneel. The plastic grid broke on the first unit. The frame is still strong and my intentions are to replace it with a wooden board. In the meantime, my wife saw this one, so I bought it for her. I hope it lasts longer than the first one. Eventually, I'll have 2, one with wood. (Maybe 2 with wood instead of plastic.) ... show more

But within six months the kneeler pad literally broke in two. It’s only plastic under the foam! I do use it a lot on my knees and loved the handles to push up...but it needs replacement pads to rescrew on the sturdy frame. Sold under several names but all the same out of China.
