I ended up getting several after buying the medium size one first. The first one I bought quit working after 2 months. I even tried getting new rechargeable/solar batteries, but that didn't work either. I guess sometimes there is a dud and should be expected for the price. The other 3 seem to be fine. They provide a nice glow on the tables. Just the right amount of light to see and not hurt your eyes.

Bought two for a friend's birthday, and she loves them. I see them in her yard and the effect is very pretty. I cautioned her about putting them directly on the ground, since some reviews have commented on water seeping upward into the battery compartment, but she has had no problems in the three months they've been in her garden. She is so happy with them that she bought a few more for herself.

I really didn't know what to expect with these, but they are beautiful! I love the cracked-glass look, the warm white light, and their brightness after dark (just the right amount). They appear to be good quality, with a hefty weight and they lit right up the first evening I had them. I love them so much, I purchased a few more for my patio! I purchased the smallest size for my table top, and the largest size for those I placed on the ground. So perfect!

The quality of the glass and brightness is good. Unfortunately, the color of the LEDs I received was regular white, not warm white. I'm not sure if this was a manufacturing defect, or just a shipping mistake. Anyway, steer clear if you are specifically looking for warm white.

**Update: Very pleased that the seller reached out to me and has offered a full refund!! Nice to see there are still some respectable sellers!** Somewhat disappointed. I just received the 5.9 inch light and the two 4.7 lights today. I was so excited! They were all packaged very well and they are beautiful! I placed the spike on the large one and put it in the middle of my birdbath that I've turned into a planter. I even gathered rocks to raise it up a bit off the soil so as not to get any moisture in it. I also placed the smaller lights in some old heavy metal hanging planters and they fit perfectly. They are on hooks under my overhang on my patio. Well, a shower came later and right before it started raining, and just in case the wind started blowing, I decided it would be best if I take down those hanging baskets and brought them into the house until it stopped raining. It wasn't a hard rain, just a nice light summer shower. When it was over, I took the 2 hanging baskets back out and hung them back up. I turned to look at the big light in the birdbath and it was cloudy. Upon further inspection I discovered that water had rolled down the globe and went inside it. I picked it up and turned it upside down and some of the water came out. As I did this, I had covered the solor sensor and the lights did come on, so I was relieved by that. I brought it in the house and unscrewed the battery compartment and removed the battery and I'm just going to let it dry very well in the house before I go any further. My plan is to do what the manufacturer should have done - I'm going to seal around that base so that water can't get in! I'm not sure if the water that did get in will cause any problems down the road or not. For the price of these, that should have been done by the manufacturer. So that's why I can only leave 3 stars.

This was used in my rock garden. Several showers of rain later, and they fog up. They do not lose the fogging in the sun. The above was my original review. The seller has since reached out to me and sent a replacement. They arrived today, and I will see what happens tonight. The seller is not at fault and bent backward to accommodate me. I appreciate the help that they provided and the replacement. Fingers crossed, and I hope it is not a design flaw. Thank you again to the seller of this product.
