As far as wireless headphones go, I really enjoy the sound and the quality of these. The leather will hold up better over time and that's part of what you are paying for. I have a DAC Amp and wired headphones along with various IEM's but I purchased these for the wireless feature along with sound quality and build. That being said I have no regrets they sound great volume is plenty and they connect fast. They are comfortable to wear cutting the lawn and have enough pressure to stay in place. The Bowers & Wilkins Px8 S2 are superior in every way to any other headphones I’ve ever owned. And I own a pair of Pioneer DJ headphones the same ones used by Carl Cox. I love my Pioneer headphones, but they can’t touch the Px8 S2 cans. The sound is so clean, clear and precise. The materials used in these headphones is amazing my only complaint is I don’t believe the sound cancellation is a robust as it should be, but it’s my only complaint. I hate that I had to return these. The audio and aid quality is amazing! Truly the best pair of over the ear headphones I have ever listened to. The build quality of them is also exceptional. The issue is, the ear fatigue I get from these. After about 30 mins they start to get uncomfortable and at 45 mins, they start to hurt. Now I understand that this could just be a fit issue for me, which is why I am still giving them 5 stars because of how amazing the build and sound quality is ... show more

Sounds great, with the right streaming service or hi-res downloads. Does not preform exceptionally well on the low ends. And even distorts a great deal on low end side, when at a higher volume. Easily the best headphones I’ve ever put on my head. I use P5s for gaming. I handed down my AirPods Pro 2s to family and now use 3s for exercise, but when I’m still at all, the Pc8 S2 are my favorite for listening in every way. Putting them on feels like a privilege, and every time I do it, I feel a joy. I do wish they had powerless wired pass thru. That seems to be a feature that has gone into the past. I ordered this px8 Mclaren edition and Px8 series 2 warmstone for our upcoming trip. But it's just sad because I have to return these two. The quality is so good. The only problem is that the bass is so strong and the bass gave me a headache for 2 days now and my headache hasn't gone away because of the strong impact of the bass on my ears. But for those who wants to buy good quality and strong bass. This is the one you should buy because you won't find anything else when you hear this. also I have JBL,Sony,Bose headphones. The microphone seems to have improved as well as, to some extent the sound. However, the original PX8 is more comfortable, easier to use (due to different button size and placement), and, at the moment, half the price.
