I tried several different headphones that could be used wired (for better sound reproduction) and settled on the B&W. I have a Polestar 3 auto with the B&W system so I’m used to their sound signature. The Px8s are very comfortable. Not to tight, not loose. The AirPods Max felt like a vice-grip on my noggin. The soundstage is amazing. I find myself getting lost in the music hearing details not picked up by other headphones. The ANC is very good. It’s hard to beat Bose for ANC, but these are very close behind. The trade-off (if any) for the ANC is the amazing sound reproduction. I am coming from the Sennheiser Momentum 4s - great headphones, but I’m giving the edge to B&W. Sounds is very subjective -some prefer highs, other deep bass. The best headphones are the ones that sound best to you (same with speakers). I find the B&Ws check all of the boxes, especially when used wired. The Bluetooth (wireless) function works perfectly well - no cut-outs or static. I highly recommend these headphones. ... show more

The Bowers & Wilkins Px8 S2 headphones genuinely surprised me. The sound is incredibly crisp and detailed, with a punchy low end that instantly reminded me of the original Dr. Dre studio headphones-but with a much more refined, premium level. Everything sounds balanced and clear, wether it’s bass-heavy tracks or vocals, and the overall listening experience feels immersive without being overwhelming. I’ll admit I was hesitant at first because of the price. These aren’t cheap, and I debated for a while before pulling the trigger. After spending time with them, though, I can confidently say they’ve been worth it. The build quality, comfort, and sound performance all justify the cost. If you’re on the fence because of the price, the Px8 S2 delivers enough quality to make the hesitation fade pretty quickly. ... show more

2nd to none at this price point. I have the px7 s2e and tried the px7 s3. After comparing the 3, it's obviously in a class of its own even when listened to by untrained ears (wife and daughter). You could mouth/saliva sounds on all songs with acappella parts. Crazy to state when talking about headphones, but it has a huge sound stage. Kinda need to try them to know what I mean. No EQ adjustments needed. The px7 s3 tries to come close with major EQ adjustments (got the settings from recordingnow.com), but the clarity, separation, and warmth is what sets it apart by far. If you don't have the budget, save and buy them on sale. Don't even take them on a test drive unless you're ready to buy because you'll start hating your current headphones. Sony xm4, xm5, and xm6 definitely has the leg up on ANC, but these are good enough to block sounds coming from an 18" barrel fan sitting 3 feet away (don't need much more than that imo). ... show more

I ordered these two days ago and as-- soon as I put them on, I forgot about how they cost and only thought about how beautiful they sounded. I still use a pair of Wireless P7's-- from about 10 year ago-- and they still sound great, but these headphones are a step up from them! Compared to Bose 35 QC's, these definitely fell tighter on my ears but their noise cancelation, and everything else, seem that much better. ... show more

I had these just recently couple days, I have to say this is best headphones I ever owned. i tried comparing them to my 660s Sennheiser wired, and it so close. its crazy how Bluetooth gotten this far. super comfortable as well, it sits perfect on my ear. Everything sound so crisp. its almost like your there. Granted this is not to replace my pc wired setup. but for VR Bluetooth, and phone. I tried using USB C to my phone, cant really tell, maybe slightly crisp but not noticeable enough to go to USB C, wires are long gone. Honestly this is most expensive headphone I ever bought, if I could buy it again I would. My mom listen to Andrea Bocelli "Con Te Partiro" she started crying cause she felt every word. that means alot coming from a Bluetooth headphones ... show more

Sounds great, with the right streaming service or hi-res downloads. Does not preform exceptionally well on the low ends. And even distorts a great deal on low end side, when at a higher volume. Great audio quality. Good noise cancelling. The earpieces sit very comfortably over my large ears. The overall quality of design is great. With all that said, It seems I received a lemon. There were alignment issues with the headband sitting on my head at an angle, there was a rattle in the right earpiece and I experienced intermittent loss of connection with my iPhone. I returned this unit and purchased another unit with the hope that this first purchase was a lemon, and the second unit is proving to be much, much better. ... show more
