It has 2 ways of function, sitting and kneeling chair. There is padding on both sides. The assembly from the box took me less than 20 seconds. When it is not use, it can fold back to save space. The two side pockets are optional but very handy for tools. It is light weight to carry around in the garden. It is sturdy. The cost is fair. Happy with the purchase.

This garden seat is awesome — super light to carry around but still feels really solid It didnt wobble at all when I try to move back and fort, which I love.The two little pouches on the sides for keep gloves, scissors, and even a small water bottle in there should be fine.
