I really love how versatile this product is. It can be used as both a kneeler and a seat, making it super convenient for different gardening tasks. The product arrives fully assembled, simply requiring you to raise the legs until they securely lock into place. I observed that one of the safety locks had about five millimeters of space left before it was fully locked, while the other three were securely locked. It is important to verify it locks for safety and to check it periodically. The bench is perfectly level and remains stable without any wobbling. The sturdy arms offer support while working, allowing you to grasp onto them for added stability. If you have back pain or knee pain, or just need to take breaks as you work outdoors, this is a great tool to have by your side. Another bonus is that two large tool pouches are included, which simply hang onto the metal arms without any complicated Velcro or snaps. The only feature I'd love is tough plastic protection on the metal sides. I have spent more time in my garden in the past year, which leads me to want to spend even more time tending the plants and making the yard beautiful. That’s where this gardening bench comes in handy. It lets me spend more time working without tiring my back. So, I can weed or get rid of unwanted sprouts for hours at a time. Handy side pockets hold my gloves, my spade, my clippers, my bottle of water, my cellphone , anything I need while I work. The bench seems strong. It holds my 170 pounds securely and is cushioned enough to be comfortable. I just wish the bench itself had been more pristine when it arrived. When I took the stand out of the box, it was noticeable that there were several stains on the seat. I know that the bench will eventually be covered in mud or dirt, but still, it would have been nice to see it completely clean the first few times I took it out. ... show more

I got this to help my dad when he has to work on his yard or wiring or anything that he needs to do kneeling on the ground. He is 70 years old, and it's getting harder for him to get back up off the ground. He mentioned this to me, and when I came across it I had to grab it. It took a couple of weeks to arrive. However, when it did, it was ready to use right out of the box. No assembly necessary. He hasn't used it to get any work done yet, however we did test it out. Its comfortable enough (as comfortable as kneeling can be) and the handle bars on each side really do help so much! The foam pad is much more comfortable than the grass. It is very sturdy and holds his weight with no problem. All you do is flip it around and you have a sturdy seat to help you until you have the strength and energy to get back up. Everyone older than 40 should have 1 or 2 of these in the house! I will not do any more work outside without it! ... show more

I took a gardening class last year and definitely got the bug however it certainly took it's toll on my already bad back. I like that even the knee pad is raised a few inches above the ground. Flipping it over you get the stool. The stool is sturdy. It didn't bend or wobble under my 250lbs at all. I like that you can move the bags to either side or not have them there at all. When using it as a kneeler the poles were extremely supportive when I used them to pull myself up. I did find it hard to fold back down at first. I was trying to fold it down by pushing it at each side instead of by the middle. Overall, really love this, and really looking forward to getting it out in the garden. ... show more

Simple and solid. Sturdy tube stock with good protective finish. Unfold the legs and have a seat. Or turn it over and kneel. The frame acts as a stable handhold when it's time to stand up. Best of all it comes ready to use out of the box, no assembly required.

We’ve had a nearly identical product for quite a while (more than 10 years). DH uses it every summer in our vegetable garden, and the old one is showing signs of wear - foam padding is tearing from the frame, so I was thrilled to be able to try this one out. It seems to be nearly identical to our old one, making this one an incredible value. The frame feels sturdy, and I expect to get another 10 years or more from this one. The included tool storage pockets are nice, but note that they are not connected to the frame. They slide over the top of either end. They may be helpful, but it does pose an issue when it comes to storing the frame and pockets. My concern is that the storage pockets will get misplaced. Overall, I highly recommend this product to make gardening more accessible and enjoyable. ... show more

This garden kneeler is portable and easy to carry. It's a good size. It's not bad for using as a quick and convenient seat when gardening. However, it is uncomfortable for kneeling, which is the whole reason I got it. The EBA pad is far too stiff and hurts my knees. In addition, when fully open one of the safety latches does not fully engage. See photo. ... show more

Comes with instructions and two end pouches that slip over the ends of the bench. It is well made and supports my 180 pounds easily. The pouches have plenty of pockets for my hand tools, ties, etc. I like being able to sit on it without fear of it tipping over or sliding. I am a senior, so I appreciate that is has the supports on each end if I decide to use the kneeling position. This makes it so much easier for me to get back up. ... show more
