I wasn't 100% sure about this garden kneeler/seat because of it's low price. I was concerned that it would be flimsy and not terribly useful. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality! It's extremely sturdy and well made. And I love the fact that it can be turned one way to serve as a kneeler and the other way to serve as a seat. My husband also uses it as a step stool to give him the extra height he needs when trimming our rose bushes. It's very stable and there is just enough padding to make it comfortable to kneel/sit on. It's light weight and portable and is super easy to fold up and store. The high handles on the "kneeling" side also make it so much easier for us older folks to get up when we are done with whatever we are working on. And did I mention the low price?!

I definitely needed this garden stool! It is made of metal, and the cushion is comfortable enough for my bare knees. Assembly was simple. There are two parts that you slide in until the silver button clicks in. No tools needed. It folds up easily and takes up very little space. The stool is sturdy, regardless of how you use it. As a kneeler, I appreciate the high sides, which provide good support when I'm kneeling and getting up. To fold it up, simply squeeze the two bars with the springs in between and fold the legs in. It’s very easy to use!

Assembly was super easy, no instructions required. Supports 400 lbs., but I did not feel confident at 340 lbs. kneeling on this product. I also found the posture uncomfortable as I was raised up and had to bend over further. If the pad was on the ground, it would be much better. As a seat, the sides dug into my hips, which was quite uncomfortable. Your mileage may vary. Not able to recommend.

I'm not a gardener but I got this kneeler/seat to use in the house. I have had both of my knees replaced and due to some small nerve damage from the surgeries, it is extremely uncomfortable to kneel on anything hard like a bare floor. I live alone, however, so what's a girl to do? Rather than get down on the floor for something, I normally use a short foot stool but sometimes have trouble getting up if there's nothing close by for me to use as a brace when standing. This stool takes fixes that problem! Since the height is adjustable I can raise or lower the height as needed like when I want to wash my hair in the bathtub without kneeling at a weird height against the side of the tub, or if I'm down lower like cleaning the lint grate in my clothes dryer (I nearly got stuck on my little foot stool that time because I had inadvertently got too close to the dryer to use it as a brace!). The handles are great for helping me stand back up and the height adjustment make is so multifunctional. I use it outside when I'm detailing my car or even brushing the dog because she's gonna lay down when she gets tired of standing or sitting, whether I'm thru with her or not. I'm no skinny-minnie but I don't have to worry about stability since this stool is heavy duty with a 400lbs. weight capacity. Once I'm done, all I have to do is fold it up and slid it in the skinny gap between my washer and the wall. It's quite sturdy and does have some weight to it but is still easy to move. So glad I got this!

I got this because I tend to get in the garden meeting and planting things it's sitting a top feet and my legs getting into all kinds of cramping uncomfortable position. This little stool is a lifesaver and makes things so much easier been trying to crouch down without it. It's quick and easy to pull out it is heavier than I expected just a couple of pounds probably but that lends to it's excellent sturdiness and the overall quality being excellent as well it is not for very large people, I don't think someone over every 200 lb would be able to sit on the seat because it is not very wide. For me being 57 and 155 it's perfect! I just had it out earlier today and love the thing!

I only give it 2 stars for the steel. The size isn't bad but it cannot hold weight if you're over 200lbs well in either position, it starts to give. This seat is flimsy and hot-glued on. It won't last. It wants to be functional but without the actual sturdiness, it's poorly made. I won't recommend this.
