This arrived in good condition, with no shipping damage. Remember this unit is HEAVY until wheels and handle are installed. Once wheels are in place, while heavy, the unit is manageable. So far I am happy with the performance, and it is considerably quieter than similar size compressors. There was an issue with the handle installation as the bolts do not all fit, but the final result is sturdy. Good industrial quality for a home workshop. ... show more

    • Rattled apart in two months of minimal use.

Air compressor was ok for the first month. Then I went in and the drive sheave had rattled off and the spot welds that hold the motor to the motor base had broken out. I imagine that the drive sheave setscrews weren't torqued properly, letting the sheave walk off the shaft. When half the sheave was off, it gave the side still on the shaft enough play that it wallowed it out. That vibration broke the spot welds holding the motor to its base. If it was torqued and aligned properly, it wouldn't have come apart. Proper torque and a little lock tight at the factory would have prevented the failure. ... show more
