For the longest time, our old garage opener button had a whimpy weak LED that was hard to see in the daylight. Then the "lock" button broke (the plastic button cover fell off), so you had to put your fingertip on the microswith inside the box to disable/ enable the garage door remote access each night before sleep. And worse? The microswitch then started to get flaky,, and it has to go! Swapping the old remote with this one was easy- just 2 wires. The hardest part allot the installation for me was redrilling the holes (the old opener button was too close to the door frame, and the new such had to be moved over about 1/4 inch. The new button is bright, the LED lights up the compete leather white button, the lock button works perfectly. Family challenged why I didn't do it earlier!

Absolutely recommend and very easy to setup, if you are using the hard wire from the garage door opener motor to the touch pad, you do not need to program. I just installed within minutes and to my surprise it works flawlessly and to add the green light in the touch pads is amazing.
