  • Great replacement remote
Style: Remote for Learn Button & Dip Switch...
Initial set up might be a little tricky for those none tech-savvies. But the direction is not too complicated to follow. I like the fact that it has two buttons that can be programed to control two different garage doors. It's been working great for half a year now without any issue. Hope it'd last.

  • Works well
Style: Remote for Learn Button & Dip Switch...
I use this remote to control a newish Chamberlain opener and an older Genie. Easy to pair, works fine.

  • Stopped working/UPDATE
Style: Remote for Learn Button & Dip Switch...
**update as of 5/8/2023** Customer service went above and beyond to replace the faulty clicker. The current clicker I have has been working so far, but giving it time before I feel comfortable with a 5 star review. I ordered this back in December but left for a month and didn’t really use it much. It worked for maybe a handful of weeks and is now not working at all. Could possibly be the battery but if so, that’s a waste of money to have barely used it at all before dying less than 2 months later. ... show more

  • Paired with Genie Intellicode II and Chamberlin
Style: Remote for Learn Button & Dip Switch...
Works well, feels fine and paired with a newer Genie Opener with intelicode II and older Chamberlin. Because the instructions was a little unclear, here is how it worked for me on the Genie. To pair with a newer Genie model, press the program button until a solid blue light. Then, click one of the two garage buttons 19 times. At this point, on the Genie opener, put it in program mode by pressing the pair button for 2 seconds. It will flash purple. Now back to the Opener Remote, Press the program button again so the blue light turns off. And within a few seconds, press the same garage button as before once. Within 5 seconds for me, it was paired. ... show more

  • So easy to program and having dual controllers is a game changer!
Style: Remote for Learn Button & Dip Switch...
This product has worked flowless for me. I have two separate garage doors I need to control. One is an "old-school" dip switch type and the other is a modern "My Q" digital smart opener. This incredible device allows me to control both. The programming was super easy and straight forward. After finding this indispensable, I have purchased two additional units. Needless to say I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend this to anyone who has the need to control two different openers. ... show more

  • Defective battery
Style: Remote for 5 Learn Button 1-P
It worked - instructions were clear enough and programming is ok, except that the battery that came with the item didn't work. There was initially no response when the B+C buttons were pushed together. I had to initiate return and then they suggested self diagnosis by reinserting or replacing the battery. Re-inserting battery didn't work and I had to replace the battery before it works. ... show more

  • Here is how I programed them.
Style: Remote for Learn Button & Dip Switch...
These work great. I highly recommend them. They work on my old garage door opener as well as the new one next to it. I’m embarrassed to say how many different interpretations of the instructions I tried before I guessed correctly how to program them. The term “learn-button” refers to the program or learn-button on the door operating motor. The term “program-button” refers to button 5 on the remote-control and is next to the row of DIP switches. Identify the doors to be operated as door I and II. While programing the remote-control for door I, use button I. While programing the remote-control for door II, use button II. Repeating the setup procedure for each door will allow a single remote-control to operate one or two different types of doors. For each door opener, identify its brand and the type of learn-button, located on the motor. Use the table in step 3 of the manufacturer's User Manual to determine the number of times that you will need to press the remote-control button I or II when programming the remote-control. Remove the remote-control battery cover and locate the program-button (button 5). Then do these steps within one minute to program the remote: 1. Press and hold the program-button on the remote-control until the blue light on the remote-control turns on, then release the program-button. 2. On the remote press the I or II button (corresponding to the door you are programming) the number of times indicated in the table in step 3 of the manufacturer's User Manual. Allow the blue light to flicker after each press of the button before pressing again. 3. Press the program-button on the remote to store the setting in the remote. The blue light will extinguish. 4. Press the motor learn-button. It will light up. 5. Press the I or I button (corresponding to the door you are programming) one last time. The light on the motor learn-button will extinguish. Example 1: 1. Press and hold the program-button on the remote until the blue light comes on. 2. Since the motor is a Chamberlain and has a yellow learn-button, press the I button on the remote 8 times, allowing the blue light to flicker after each press. 3. Press the program-button on the remote to store the setting in the remote. The blue light will extinguish. 4. Press the motor learn-button. It will light up. 5. Press the I button on the remote. The motor learn-button will extinguish. 6. Test the remote control. Example 2: 1. Press and hold the program-button on the remote until the blue light comes on. 2. Since the motor is a Chamberlain and has a purple learn-button, press the II button on the remote 3 times, allowing the blue light to flicker after each press. 3. Press the program-button on the remote to store the setting in the remote. The blue light will extinguish. 4. Press the motor learn-button. It will light up. 5. Press the II button on the remote. The motor learn-button will extinguish. 6. Test the remote control. ... show more

  • Pain to configure, but works great afterwards
Style: Remote for Learn Button & Dip Switch...
The remote itself is way stronger and better than the remote it's replacing. Before I would have to click my previous remote about 20 times before it opened the door, but with this remote it works on the first try! My previous remote also wouldn't program my home link mirror, but this one was able to do it no problem and really quickly too. One thing to note is the instructions are not very easy to follow. You have to click a single button up to 18 times, and that is going to make or break if this remote works. For my setup, I had a 8 dip switch remote on the 310 frequency, and in the manual it states to click the button you wish to program, then click that button again 17 times. What they neglect to mention is that initial click counts as one of the 17. It took me a while to get it working correctly, so if you're having the same frustration and problems, try clicking the remote one less time than the manual states. Also their customer support is terrible, don't expect to get much help from them ... show more
