I have 3 very large cats. Maine Coon mix so you get the idea of how large they are. This carrier is just fine. Had to take my male (largest) of the 3 to the vets and it held up well. He's 28 lbs and I was concerned about picking it up with him in it. Would it hold up? Would the zippers tear? Would he find a way to escape. Gotta tell you, this carrier is exceptionally put together well. I would have no problem with putting two normal sized kitties in it. Carrier is very sturdy, and suitable for small and larger animals. Zippers work with ease. Fold downs on windowed areas well. Folds up easily after use. It's a good product!! If my 28lb guy can use this with some ease I'm sure your animals will be and do just fine. I can tell you only of my experience with it. I don't fly, so I can't say anything about that. ... show more

I own a 1.5 year old kitten who is longer then average and plump. I had to replace a plastic carrier with this one given how quickly how grew to a "plump 17 lbs". We purchased this for a 12 hour drive with our 3 YO 7 lb cat. I think we picked the perfect carrier for our needs. The bottom was sturdy and allowed him to be comfortable, but the flexible material of the carrier allowed us to transport him safely and easily. I was able to give him pets through the multiple doors of the carrier and he was shaded by the dark fabric so he didn’t get too hot. Zippers were easy to use and didn’t cause any stress. Well made, easy to get my cat in and out of with a choice of openings. Made thoughtfully with smooth zippers and structured so it doesn't collapse on our cat. The carrier is easy to carry and maneuver into our car for vet visits. The carrier is a soft beige that is easy to clean.

This pet carrier is well constructed and will safely transport a couple of large cats. The carrier opens at the top as well as at the end to make it easier to put a reluctant cat into the carrier. There is plenty of ventilation, sturdy carrying handles, and we're happy with this purchase.

    • Misleading size and poor visibility

I purchased this carrier because it was advertised as fitting “large cats up to 20 lbs,” but the dimensions are much smaller than I expected. A 20 lb cat would be extremely cramped, and even my 10 lb cat would not fit comfortably. The mesh ventilation is also much more opaque than the photos suggest. The pictures showing a cat sitting inside with the door open are misleading — once the door is closed, a cat cannot see out clearly. Even my 5 lb cat, who normally enjoys looking around during car rides, would not be happy in this because the mesh blocks visibility. The carrier I received was made in China, packed tightly into a very small box, and did not feel sturdy. Because of these issues, I decided to return it. ... show more
