it worked fine with my ps4. but today I tried it with my pc. I disconnected the cable while using it. and it froze and it is currently unresponsive at all. I tried connecting to my ps4 through an usb cable. no luck. the light stays on. I wish there was a manual mode to force to turn off.. I would not recommend this controller

So here are the pros of this PS control that I noticed * The controller is light weight and the buttons seems pretty stable in quality. *The triggers are nicely weighted when squeezing. * You have 7 color options for the led light throughout the control that you can change it to and there is a dedicated button on the back of the control to change those colors. * The3 Battery seems modestly Stable lasting a fair amount of time * it uses USB-C Cons: * The control has no dedicated software support for the extra buttons on the bottom of the control. So you cannot program them at all. * The Control is not compatible with PS5 games as far as I am aware. * USB=C to USB- A * You cannot Charge the Control with USB-C to C on a cellphone charger or anything I am using this Controller on my PC and it works decently. There is some performance lag but it isn't so bad for my use case scenario.

The controller looks great out of the box—the RGB lighting gives it a cool, modern vibe. It connects easily to my PS4 and PC, and the battery life is surprisingly good for the price. That said, the buttons feel a bit mushy compared to the official DualShock, and the analog sticks aren't quite as responsive. It’s fine for casual gaming or as a backup, but serious players might notice the difference. Overall, decent value, just don’t expect premium performance.

He’s used it with our Switch (connect by pressing “option” and then P). He says the buttons work good, the lights are cool, and he hasn’t noticed any lag or drift so far. He says the buttons are configured just as he expected they would be (P is home, red is A, blue is B, green is X, pink is Y, “option” is +, “share” is -.) And apparently the big rectangle grey button is a Playstation-specific feature, so with the Switch it just works as the “snapshot” button. I did connect it to my laptop (by pressing “share” and then P) and it connected quickly, but I haven’t tried it on any games yet.

So this is an acceptable controller but it has very many flaws with it. First off, it is a BT only controller which usually is not too bad for controllers but I am not sure which BT module is in this as neither the manual nor the controller itself nor the listing state what version of BT is in it - my guess is a later model 4.0 BT as it has very short range (sub 15') and it does get frequent cross talk with other BT devices (when using it with BT headphones, I was hearing popping and crackling in my headphones that is not there with other controllers - note this is not connected to the controller but connected to a PS4). So one positive, it works pretty flawlessly with the PS4 as long as you are close to it. It does not seem to have true x-input mode as most other devices other than PS4 see it as an older DS4 controller which does limit it's functionality a bit. The 6-axis gyro does work but the farther you get from your device the wonkier it gets. The charging cable it comes with is honestly garbage and is only about 1 ft long so don't think about using it to charge and play. The RGB is pretty nice but even using the specific commands listed in the manual, I cannot get the RGB to change at all so instead I just get unicorn vomit in my face the entire time. It sounds a lot like a microswitch controller but opening it up shows it is a really a tactile membrane controller with clicky add-ins to make it seem microswitch. It failed both the Contra test and the Street Fighter test pretty regularly, but for precision platformers like Celeste it actually did ok. There is also no battery indicator and as such when it died, it literally just shut off for me. It only charges on 2a/5v chargers and to reach full charge took almost 4 hours for me. But only lasted maybe 3-4 hours of charge after that. The advertisement says it works on XBOX/X360 on a wired format, it does not. It also does not want to pair with any retro handheld I tried it with. So that being said, this could be a nice looking secondary controller you keep for your PS4/PS4 Pro but if you were looking for a high quality controller, I would go elsewhere.
