My son needed yet another controller because of “stick drift” and I refuse to keep paying $80 for the original so i looked this one up and decided to get him to try because it’s half the price. At first he was hesitant because it’s doesn’t have the name ps5 on it and apparently I’m a mom that doesn’t know anything about gaming lol. I read him some reviews and he was desperate because I absolutely was not paying $80 for another controller. I ordered. It came the same day. Well, guess what? He loves the controller! He loves the lights! They match his keyboard, pc and led lights in his room! I’m assuming it was easy to connect because he didn’t call me to his room to help him connect it. For whatever reason he thinks I’m his tech support although I supposedly know nothing about gaming 😂 He’s even saving his own money to buy another one to replace his other controller. Good controller for the price. Works well, functions well, takes getting a little used to, but its more of getting used to a controller that doesn't hold like a ps5 one. But, it is comforterable. POS TRASH. I ended up buying two of them cuz the first one didn't work but I thought I'd give it another shot second one experience the exact same problems only faster. Within 2 days buttons started malfunctioning and doing their own thing The only thing that I never had a problem with was the joysticks everything else not worth it and dealing with Amazon to return it even more of a headache and I didn't get her full refund so keep that in mind as well if you choose to give this controller a shot and it doesn't work you won't get your money back and what money you do get back isn't worth it with the headache deal with. Update the manufacturer seller reached out to me offering a full refund for all of the complete garbage I got with telling me to state I would like a full refund if that's what I wanted I stated that then they changed their mind offered me another controller and told me that if this one didn't work I would receive a full refund well guess what third controller same garbage button started doing whatever they wanted didn't function the way they were meant to and then I was told that Amazon was the one to take care of the refunds when Amazon is part of the issue so yet again I'm stuck with a piece of garbage that doesn't work only this time I'm glad I didn't have to waste any money although I've still been screwed over not getting back the money I paid for the product when the product is a failure and every turn it's been a headache and a huge pain in the rear do not waste your time effort or money on this piece of garbage ... show more

Purchased this for my son as we were needing an additional PS5 controller so we can play a few games together. The original controller is very expensive, so I decided to go with this one. Overall, we are very happy with the controller. It is highly responsive and works just as well as the original. Plus, my son loves the lights on the controller as well. Quality is hit or miss. I accidentally ordered two and I'm glad I did. I was replacing my original PS5 controller which had horrible drift. I ordered the first Gamrombo after seeing YouTube reviews. But somehow misplaced the package in the house. So I ended up ordering the second one. And of course I found the first one the day the second arrived. Plugged in the second one and it worked great out of the box. But after a couple weeks the right trigger button started sticking and then quit working. So I plugged in the original. Going on almost a year and it still works great. Holds a nice long charge. Zero stick drift. And all the buttons work as they should ... show more

Pros and Cons: PS5 Budget Controller Cons - Connectivity can be iffy at times. - Right trigger broke less than a month into ownership—no drops involved (it was replaced, but raises concerns for future durability). - No obvious way to shut off the LEDs, which can be very obnoxious. - May require calibrating the controller a couple of times; it's not fully plug-and-play. - L1 R1 are a click as opposed to a gradual soft press. - Lacks a mute button Pros - Semi-premium feel—solid enough not to complain about. - Good to great battery life, even compared to the official controller. - Back buttons work well and provide inexpensive access to a feature found on pricier controllers. - Joysticks feel smooth and accurate; button presses feel acceptable. - Familiar design and silhouette close to the original, allowing for a seamless transition. - Turbo button works reliably, even in online FPS games (giving you a fast "trigger finger").
