It's a good tidy little unit, well built, pretty powerful, silent, cool, and plenty of ports. It lasted 19 months then the NVMe drive failed. Support was hard to get hold of, all done by email with slow turnaround time and the "troubleshooting" steps were kind of a waste of time. I.e the BIOS cannot see the drive so building a PE disk and booting to windows to load partition to also not see the drive is a complete waste of time. So they eventually agreed the drive was busted and offered me a 15% discount to buy a new machine completely. I said no thanks I'd like you fix it or replace it under warranty. They said "its out of warranty". But the product description at the time of purchase, and at the point of failure, and still shown today says 2yr warranty. 19 months is less than 2yrs. So short version is they don't honor the stated warranty. ... show more

Died after 6 hours

Was happy with the PC. Performance was good. Did updates added my accounts. Installed a couple games from Epic and Steam. Was ready to go. After all that got on YouTube for about 1/2hr to watch some videos on this PC and in the middle of watching, it just dies. Tried to turn back on and that was it. Wouldn't turn on anymore. Little Smokey electric smell came from it. Tried a different power supply and same issue. Nothing. Has to go back. I'll just build something for the price. Sux cause I like the look of it. Found other reviews saying the same thing happened to them. Should have read all the reviews and did some research before buying it. Prime Day rip-off. Just want a refund. ... show more

So at first you get this PC and you’re so excited, it’s fast, quiet, space saving, sets up quickly, good quality packaging, everything works great and everything is gravy. Until one day when it decides it no longer wishes to work.. then your password no longer works, then it’s factory resetting, then it’s flashing different colors on the screen and telling you that the password cannot be changed.. like it’s nothing but a headache and a hot mess. I’ve only had it less than 3 months and if I knew this would happen, I wouldn’t have ever bought it. For context: this pc is used for the purposes of streaming only. Only 4 apps were installed on it OBS Studio, TikTok Live Studio, MS Outlook and Discord. And that’s all it was used for. Two hours a day 4 or 5 days a week. ... show more

I bought an ACEMAGICAN a little under a year ago and it worked well enough for my needs. I really liked its unique look, built in vanity LED lighting, adjustable power knob and it also having two easily accessible M.2 PCI slots through a magnetic latching side panel which isn't common. The huge problem is that suddenly it would randomly lock up requiring a hard reboot and then eventually stopped powering on at all. Since I work in IT I was able to go through the base troubleshooting steps that their support forums outlined fairly easily but nothing seemed to work. After some digging, I found in a few forums like Reddit, other mini PC forums and the like, is that other users were reporting the same symptom of not being to power on at all no matter what troubleshooting took place all within a similar time frame as me. Some users were reporting that their support tickets with ACEMAGICIAN ended up w/ a new system being sent because some known issue with the motherboard. Of course when I contacted support they responded in a day or so going through the initial troubleshooting steps. After I responded back confirming the steps they outlined were taken and what their results were, they went radio silent, even after multiple follow up attempts. Calling did not do much good since it just goes to voicemail, but I did leave a message but of course no call back either. So in the end I ended up with an expensive cool looking paperweight. After a few weeks of a dead PC and getting no where with support, I finally gave up, bit the bullet and bought a new replacement system (a SER5 MAX model from BeeLink) that I've had good experiences with their mini PC products before. Moving from the old ACEMAGICIAN to the new SER5 was easy enough just by swapping the M.2 SSD and a little Windows cleanup after initial boot. I really wish this company had quality products and support because the previously mentioned features they do have in the mini PC space do seem to be very unique. I suspect that if the forums are right and they had a bad batch of motherboards, they got overwhelmed and a bean counter over there would just rather deal with unhappy customers than take on the cost of repair within warranty period. Anyway, I say AVOID unless you are fine taking a risk that you fall into the same bucket I did with a cool looking but dead-as-a-doornail mini PC. ... show more

Died After 6 months. The other after 2 days
Extremely Disappointed – Died After 6 Months! I bought this PC in December and was initially happy with the performance for everyday tasks like browsing and streaming/roblox. I purchased Norton protection, so I expected at least a decent level of security and system stability. Unfortunately, that was not the case. After just six months of light use, the computer shut off abruptly while I was watching a YouTube video — and never turned back on. No warning signs, no overheating, just completely dead. I tried all the troubleshooting steps, but nothing worked. I take good care of my electronics, so this was incredibly frustrating. For a product at this price point, I expected far more longevity. A computer shouldn’t just quit like this, especially with antivirus protection installed. Its a waste of money. I purchased 3 and one went out 2 days after opening. This one 6 months and who knows when the other will go out. I would not recommend this PC to anyone. Look elsewhere if you want reliability. ... show more

Probably the worst PC I've ever used, and I'm only using this for office work

For the specs, this PC should be blazing fast for standard office work like Excel, Word, PDFs and emails. But it is not. I even upgraded the RAM and SSD in this and it is still extremely slow when it shouldn't be. Forget about playing any games on this. It's quick enough when it wants to work, but often has spurts of excessive lag and lock ups that render the PC completely useless. I have never experienced a modern PC doing this. Because of this, I have suspicions that there is some kind of spyware hardwired in these PCs' BIOS from the factory. It is a Chinese company after all. Like I said, I replaced the SSD and installed a fresh AMERICAN version of Windows 11. But I still have these odd issues of random lock ups and lag. And sometimes Windows behaves a little suspiciously: my wallpaper sometimes disappears and the windows lock screen is sometimes completely black. My 10 year old PC that this replaced was much better. TLDR; it can't handle simple office work without lagging, I wouldn't be gaming on it. Also concerns of spyware even after reformatting. Trash PC, spend your money somewhere else. ... show more

Watch the video>> see those bubbles on the lable? Too hot / over heat Feb 27- Jul 22 , 5 months not use every day . CPU burned. So make the led on the power supply keep blinking. The great thing is customer service never reply. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought two for my daughters, the first one died. Now I have to add extra fan to save the second one won’t over heat.
