I purchased this Maono RGB mic after Amazon recommended it to me. I already had a Maono cardiod mic (which I love) but this one has RGB and a slightly different mounting method. It arrived quickly and packaged very safely to ensure safe transport. I have several mics to compare this RGB mic to: Blue Yeti, Rhode mics, Sennheiser mics, headset mics, and even two other professional series Maono Microphones. This mic performs well beyond my expectations for the price and included RGB feature. While RGB is somewhat a gimmick, as you can see from my photos I have a RGB theme going on with my MWE battlestation. I like my devices and peripherals to all match. I did not choose to utilize the included mic stand (pictured) but instead purchased a Maono boom mic arm to compliment the maono mic. This mic also does NOT come with a pop filter. Before I uninstalled my other Maono mic, I recorded myself reading a paragraph of text to use as the comparison. I installed this mic and then re-read the same text then listened to them in Premiere Pro. Initially it seemed as if the RGB mic was not capturing a "full" sound, lacking in the bass undertones of my voice...however after downloading the Maono software and setting the mic to "natural" this corrected the minor audio differentiation. The RGB colors can be adjusted, in both brightness and colors. You can set it to a single solid color or have it rotate the RGB rainbow. It currently does not possess the ability to change from one color to another (aka "dual colors") The colors can be adjusted via the free Maono software, which is not intrusive nor bloated. It is a simple audio app that allows you to perform basic or advanced audio tuning. I have used this mic now for a little over a month and used it specifically on 3 professional commercial voice-overs and I cannot hear or notice any difference between my expensive professional mics and this one. It performs a superb job at capturing audio clearly and cleanly with zero audible frequency noises nor distortion. I have also used this mic during my discord calls and a handful of gaming sessions and there is no discernible difference or loss of quality in my online interactions. For the value, looks, and performance of this mic, I would definitely recommend this to others! ... show more

USB Gaming Microphone: $49.99 at the time of review I've resisted getting a desktop mic for my home computer set up for many years. I've always gone in favor of a headset with a boom mic attached. But recently, I decided it was finally time to upgrade my setup. Those boom mics never produce great audio so it was time to find a better alternative. *TL;DR Review Haiku™* Best quality Super features and price point Grab it while you can *What I liked*: The first thing you’ll notice is that the packaging/and boxing experience is excellent. It really has a premium feel, and considering the price (which I feel is an excellent value) I didn’t expect as much. The microphone itself continues the trend of high quality. It weighs enough that it's not going to be knocked around easily on your desk. And the fit and finish (read as paint quality and volume and branding decals) are also extremely high. In fact, the logo doesn't stick out nearly as much in real life (a plus for me). I also love that it connects via a USB–C port. It is the most ubiquitous connection, and there's just no excuse for using anything but so I was glad to see it here. However, the designers were thoughtful of people’s setups, and the other end of the cable contains an attached USB-A adapter in case you don't have enough (or any) C type ports. Using the microphone couldn't be simpler. I just plugged it into my computer, and it worked. The RGB button on the underside controls the lighting, but I also really like that you can use syncing software to sync it with the rest of your RGB (if you have such a thing). And the included volume/mute button is a great accessory for easy audio control. As for audio quality, it's outstanding. I've had absolutely no complaints from anyone that I have tested it with. The last thing I want to mention is the current (as of this writing) $15 off coupon. That brings the price down to $35. It is a fantastic deal at that price. *What I didn't like*: Frankly, I don't have anything to list here. This is just a fantastic overall package. *The Bottom Line:* I could not be happier with this desktop mic. The package and build quality really are top-tier. It's super easy to use with great features and excellent performance. This is one of those no-brainer five stars out of five items for me. In fact, it comes so close to getting a rare gold medal from me (my very highest award for quality items that I review). If the $15 off coupon (available as of this review) were baked into the price, and this were $35 bucks with no need for a coupon, it would get that medal.
