The back cover is removable and the ram, nvme ssd is upgradeable. Also check the thermal paste for APU, and preferably apply a quality one instead. After fresh application lowered the temp by almost 10c°. Overall for the price is a decent machine.

My old laptop finally met the great microprocessor in the sky so I needed a new one and after much searching I came across this bad boy. The overall performance is by far a major improvement from my old laptop. I love the screen quality, battery life and the ability to play my Game Pass games on it without any lag. The cost was nice compared to similar products and I would recommend this brand.

The AOC AX16Pro is not going to set any benchmark records or be comparable to a laptop with costly graphics drivers but...let me tell you something, the AMD Ryzen 7 CPU is no slouch! This along with 16MB Ram make standard gaming a pleasure. You wont have a smooth Call of Duty experience but with a little software tweaking you can still play. Great for everything else you can throw at it too. The dedicated graphics are not upgradable but at least there are some! However the RAM is upgradable which is nice and will give it more snap for the future. The screen has a clear, colorful view even at an angle. Quiet backlit keyboard with brightness levels make easy work in dimly lit situations. If you want to play graphic intense multi-player games from the last 3-5 years, look elsewhere, but if you play standard graphic games such as anything from Roblox and older games pre-2019 this will turn the trick for you. An AMD Ryzen 7 under $479? A no-brainer for sure! Check out youtube reviews for more in depth coverage of the AX16Pro. Recommended buy.

Don't buy unless you plan to trash it after 1 year. My AX16 Pro died within 1 year and both acemagic and the selling vendor refused to acknowledge warranty of 1 year, although their product description says support for 1 year which means they point you to articles on how to address common issues, nothing more than doing your own searches. Their communication is nothing more than a round and round back and forth waste of time. I clearly had a motherboard failure. Which brings up another issue and question I asked Acemagic. I asked if there was a way to buy parts, no luck there and it will require me to fully disassemble and find PN's to be able to replace. I guess it's just a future project I wasn't ready to accept. Just another point. I have laptops and PC's that have lasted beyond their performance usefulness of today, but the fact is they lasted and not of the CHEAP quality being sourced by low end manufacturing. Never again will I buy ACEmagic or similar and stick to proven vendors like Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc. It's not worth the aggravation for the money. With Black Friday coming be aware of cheap deals that try to match quality of the proven hardware vendors.

I purchased this AOC Gaming laptop around Christmas at an amazing sale price, and it was delivered quickly and right on time. So far, I’ve had no issues with it. Performance-wise, it holds up well compared to my previous computers, though I wouldn’t call them high-end. I’m not an Apple user, so I can’t compare it to a Mac, but my last computer was an HP Omen, and this laptop keeps up with it. Before that, I had a Toshiba, and this laptop easily surpasses it. While it may not be the "Mercedes-Benz" of the computer world, it offers great value for the price. If you're on a budget and need a solid all-around laptop that can handle a heavy workload or gaming, this is definitely a strong contender.

We brought this for our daughter so she could play online games. Our internet is not that great, so we wanted something to compensate for it, and this Laptop does that and more. It's almost as if its directly plugged into the router. We also like the size and weight of it too. It's not too big and not too small. So far the battery on it has been great, but we've only had it few months, so we'll have to wait on that. Overall, nothing but great things to say about this so far. And for the price, you can't beat it!

I read up about a story after i had purchased this AOC lap top. it's not a gaming laptop. it's just a REBRANDED laptop that they couldn't sell enough of and changed the branding to be a gaming one. it runs some games ok. but most games you wanna play??? it'll lag like it's windows 2000 or even worse. yes there's decent storage room, but if it's advertised as a gaming laptop, it SHOULD be a gaming laptop!!! the screen is not bad, it knows when to dim itself when you reach like a 35% life in the battery. the noise level is not bad as well, but be warned if you use headphones, the sound DOES tend to go off and on at times. ONLY GAVE IT 2 * CAUSE IT'S A LAPTOP WITH DECENT STORAGE. I WAS EXPECTING A FULL ON GAMING LAPTOP.
