I landed on this one and went for it. The quality appears just as good as any of my old Garmin watches. I absolutely love this watch! The battery life is incredible and the functionality is unlike any other watch I’ve ever owned. I find myself using some glances that I never thought I’d use. The bezel is pretty big and bright. Battery life last easily a month on a single charge. It’s scary accurate as far as GPS and calculating movement.     • Why are Garmin watches so glitchy?

If the firmware/software was more stable and reliable, this would be the perfect watch. However, it crashes sometimes when navigating or doing other things. Despite this, it would be hard to find a better watch with these features, etc. It's accurate with GPS tracking. I enjoy the sleep tracking feature, which helps me with my health. The sapphire glass is amazingly tough and durable. The metal bezel definitely wears out faster than the glass. It's big and bulky, so hopefully, you have decently large arms/wrists. I like that it's possible to purchase the ballistics software on the standard model after the fact if you want to add it later. Honestly, the stock watch faces are great, and with the Tactix, I didn't find a need to download any 3rd party watch faces from the IQ store. Expensive, but it's nice! we all know that the value of smart watches is a folly thing to measure. every day after you get it, its going to depreciate. but i love this thing. been two years and many watch faces, bands, and environments later, its still on my wrist not getting replaced with the newer shinier version. battery life is still good, i'm getting over 15 days between charges when i forget the dumb proprietary pin cable without having to neuter the watches features like touch and which bands of GPS i wanna use. i'll prob never fork over the obscene amount of money to get the ballistic license, but if you're doing that kind of work, your agency should've provided you one. ... show more

I’ve had the Tactix Charlie for a long time and needed a dire upgrade. The tactix 7 is a monster watch with military/hiking/EDC features that can truly do it all. Worth the money. Just get the watch already. 10/10 recommend to all.

I have had this watch for three months. It works well great for fitness tracking. I am still figuring out how I want to configure it as I am constantly finding new valuable features. It can show very basic or super in-depth info, depending on what you need to know.

I bought this watch for over $1k. You would think that it would come with the correct watch but the Garmin Tactix Delta came instead of the Tactix 7. At least the box was worth $1k cause the box was all that was correct. I don’t think I will ever buy an expensive product like this on Amazon ever again.
