I was planning on purchasing a portable console like the Switch or Steam Deck. But I recently purchased the new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and saw many youtube reviews on the phone being well capable of mobile gaming, therefore made this purchase. I bought this a week ago from this posting date. I got the X2 Pro for 64$ pretax (regular 80$) as it had a discount promo and had same day delivery. I have been using the X2 Pro for about a week now and have been playing the following games: Minecraft, Terraria, and Dead by Daylight. I have attached photos of the product for this review. PROS: 1) I received the product without any damage. It was shipped to me in Amazon's simple bag with no padding. (Standard cardboard packaging from GameSir, no padding inside box) 2) The product comes with a light weight hard shell travel case. The case has a strap to hold down the X2 Pro and an unzippable pouch to hold some cables. Approximate Size: 4.25"W x 8.25"L x 2.00"T (In cm: 11W x 21L x 5T) 3) USB Type C allows for quick response. Haven't experienced latency. GameSir App is also well designed and easy to use. 4) Most games are ready to run once X2 Pro is connected with the phone. If a game needs mapping there is a youtube video from GameSir showing how to manually map buttons (huge plus). 5) Controller build and buttons feel great. Buttons and D pad has nice clicks when you press on them. Triggers/Bumpers feel awesome and responsive. Analog stick are smooth and responsive. There are two sets of analog stick caps. One set is concave head and the other set is convexed head. Awesome for user preference. 6) Controller has a type c port at the bottom right for pass through charging. It's regular voltage about 15V, no super fast charging. CONS: 1) The "A" button comes close to right analog and at times hard to reach as thumb get caught on the analog stick. Might just be my experience as hand sizes vary from person to person. 2) I found the controller fits small in my hand and at times I need to regrip the controller to have a comfort hold of it in my hand. Again this might vary from person to person as hand size varies. OVERALL: I give the X2 Pro 5/5 stars. The controller is well built, comes with a carrying case, and when comparing the price tag of 64$ to the 100$ of the Razor Kishi V2, this controller is a steal. Although the controller feels small in my hand, I am still able to play comfortably and competitively (Game: Dead by Daylight). I am happy with my purchase a d would recommend this over the Razor Kishi V2. I am excited for traveling with it and gaming on the fly. ... show more

This controller is extremely comfortable to use, and love the fact it has back buttons! The buttons are very responsive and tactile feeling. I like that the USB-C port swivels for ease of connecting to your phone. I use this with Game Pass, and also with my PlayStation 5. You cannot use the standard PS Remote app for PS5, but a 3rd party app called "PSPlay" that supports 3rd party controllers. I works very well, and enables you to have one controller for both options. The only flaw I ran into with this is that I couldn't use it with my case on initially because the rubber near the plug was too thick, and made the plug too short. I cut the bottom rubber part near the USB-C port out, but left the rubber on the back for grip. This was done peeling the back up with my finger, then using scissors to cut the bottom out. There are never any slip issues, and now I can use with my case on. ... show more

This has to be one of the best mobile controllers. The only thing will turn you off is the fact it is smaller and slimmer than someone might be comfortable with but that is the case with all mobile controllers for the most part. Controllers in general are a bit expensive in this market so the price of this is pretty competitive. This is worth getting over the x2 (non pro) because of the analog triggers. It just overall feels sturdy but the biggest issue is that my phone wouldn't fit even if I cut the rubber piece like others have mentioned. So if you want a phone case it might work, but most likely it won't. I'm hoping they make a X2 Pro Bluetooth version for now all we have is this usbc version. Really love and appreciate that it comes with a case that does the job well enough. ... show more

I love this product! Great for traveling. This thing is easy to set up and although X-Box Gamepass is nowhere where it needs to be, I appreciate the free trial that came included with this product. I mainly use this gamepad for PS Remote Play on my ZTE RedMagic7. A few minor drawbacks include the following: I wish the sides were a bit thicker, similar to a regular gaming controller. The fact that it is so thin leaves my hands/fingers cramping after extended play. I wish there was a way to purchase additional thumbstick covers. I've already lost one pair and I don't even bother using the other included pair b/c I know I will lose it. The manufacturer confirmed that these cannot be purchased separately. Bummer. It would be great if the USB-C input was a bit longer so I can use it w/ my phone's case. No big deal, however, b/c the gamepad comes with a case. Whenever I use this controller, I am able to put my phone case in the gamepad case. I'm hoping that a future version will allow for Bluetooth AND direct connectivity. I know there will be a little bit of lag, but it'd be nice to have that option. Especially on a plane. Other than those minor details, this is a great mobile gaming device.
