Update! Sep 12, 2025. Okay I do love the shoe fit and feel. What I don't like is that these shoes literally fall apart so easily!! This is the 3rd pair I've had of this specific shoe and the bottoms start peeling off after only a couple months, at first it's just a piece here and there so I don't update my review, but it's such a large piece i had to super glue it back on. I've never had a shoe that has had this problem. They are very comfortable shoes but they need to do something with the manufacturing of them. Also there's s a small hole forming. I want to keep buying these but not with the problem of the bottoms coming off apart after only a couple months AND I'm not running in them. I'm solely using them as walking shoes to do normal daily activities, not any heavy walking. I might need to switch to a different brand, maybe Brooks I think they have a wide toe box. Original review: love this Torin very spacious toe box better than the newer models that have issues with a rough tounge that cuts into ankles. ... show more

I was pumped to find a shoe with great toe space. But Altra’s philosophy that no one needs arch support is ridiculous..we all have different feet. The rise to ankle bone was a bit high, causing rubbing. I was able to get them to fit perfectly by using old New Balance insoles I had from an older pair..fixes the arch AND the too high rise to ankle bone ... show more
