  • ALMOST perfect
Color: White
EDIT: id like to sincerely apologize to the folks at gamesir for reviewing it lower on my first post, there was a small setting on nexus that disabled diagonal input on the D-pad, this fixed my problem with the overly sensitive Dpad however the arrows do still feel cheap Everything else is supreme quality. Zero stickdrift, satisfying clickies, easy to hot key, easy to customize, I expected to hate the third bumper but I actually prefer it over back paddles now, ergonomically it is very nice aside from the start and menu buttons placed higher than im used Fine tuning it will require a PC as the app does not work on well on Xbox. And the mic may require you to change the sound processing, it will not work with Dolby but it works with Sony which is an inferior setting in my opinion. Aside from those gripes it is one of the best controllers ive used so far and from now on will be my main. ... show more

  • Highly Customizable Controller With Great Value and Seamless PC Setup
Color: Golden
This GameSir G7 Pro controller is really great and feels like a strong alternative to more expensive pro-level controllers that offer similar features. One of the standout aspects is the level of customization. You can adjust the trigger range to be either short or full travel, depending on preference, which is great for different game types. The D-pad is also swappable with three different options, and the magnetic faceplate can be changed out with other designs, making it very customizable overall. Connectivity on PC is effortless. I use it with a USB hub built into the charging stand, and it connects instantly through the cable setup. It essentially acts as both a stable wired connection and a docking/charging station, so I never have to worry about battery life. The controller is always charged and ready to go when I pick it up. The back buttons are also programmable through the software, which adds another layer of flexibility depending on the game. Overall, it feels like a “pro controller experience” without the premium price tag, especially if you value customization, consistent power, and plug-and-play convenience on PC. ... show more

  • Best Controller I have ever used.
Color: Black
Had this controller for a couple weeks now. I have bought multiple first party controllers since they kept developing stick drift for both PS5 and Xbox. I found out about GameSir last year and I had gotten the Cyclone 2 and I loved that controller (I play on PC now). When I saw this one come out, I waited a while before buying it since my cyclone 2 was already doing what I needed it to do, but I am so glad I ended up buying the G7 Pro. The feel, the weight, the materials all feel very premium. The dock is nicer than the cyclone and I like the extra buttons by the shoulder buttons. The rubber grip adds a nice touch as well and the fact that the sticks, d-pad and face plates are all replaceable are the cherry on top. The controller performs amazingly well, especially compared to first party controllers. I didn’t want to spend a ton of money on a “pro” controller from the likes of Xbox or Sony, as this one does everything that I wanted a pro controller for, for a fraction of the price. Absolutely worth the price for what you get. ... show more

  • Bad dpad.
Color: White
Excellent controller. I would say the worst feature of this controller is the d pad. If that is something you use often in your gaming experience, this isn’t the controller you want. Everything else, I really like but they really dropped the ball on this terrible dpad. I have many different controllers from different brands but gamesir is always a solid option. The halo effect sticks are nice and smooth and very responsive. The face buttons I would say are membrane style and very sold but very responsive. The back buttons are useful as well. The Dpad though, is almost like they built the whole controller and then said “on no we forgot to budget for a dpad” then they proceeded to pull out a failed dpad from the trash bin. I try to click right and it registers up or I try to click up and it registers left. It’s just not easy to use. And very random/touchy with inputs. ... show more

  • D-pad feels squishy, but everything else is great 9/10
Color: Black
Quick tip with the USB dongle and charging base. If you are plugging the base directly into your PC, you do not need to plug the dongle into the PC as well. Just leave the dongle plugged into the base, and it will operate correctly. This is a great controller, and I've used a lot of them. I was previously using Gamesir's G7 HE. I think the only thing that the HE version did better, was their d-pad. The d-pad on this Pro controller just feels wobbly and squishy, whereas the G7 HE had a d-pad that was stiff yet responsive. Pro controller just feels like I'm going to accidentally press in the wrong direction with how squishy it is. I'm not going to mark the Pro controller down for this, as I think I'll eventually get used to it, just wanted to note the one thing I didn't like about the controller. I will say that you even though this controller has a 1000Hz polling rate, you will probably want to stick with 250Hz or 500Hz. When turning it up to 1000Hz, the controller seems to suffer from stick inaccuracy and struggles with re-centering. 250 and 500 will work fine for most people though. The lower you keep the polling rate, the longer your battery will last. Speaking of battery, the battery life is great. I have not run out of battery once as of yet. Though the longest continuous play session was about 6 hours (on 250Hz polling rate), and the software showed my battery at 41%. I'm not sure how accurate the software is on showing how much life is left in the battery, but this should be sufficient battery life for most people. Just don't forget to put it on the dock when you are taking a break after a long play session. The settings in the software for this controller are top notch. You can add custom response curves, adjust deadzones, bind the extra buttons, etc. A couple of features in the software that surprised me were the anti-deadzone and the X/Y sensitivity scale. The anti-deadzone essentially reduces the deadzone that you might encounter being forced by certain games. When turning this feature up, you suddenly have much more responsive sticks in these games. The X/Y sensitivity scale allows you to provide less sensitivity to one side if you are one who likes having a lower vertical sensitivity as compared to the horizontal. I turned mine to 36/100, which is perfect for a 16:9 ratio monitor. I have never really like or used the back paddle/buttons on any controller I've used. I prefer the additional shoulder buttons. Being that I never used the buttons on the back, I appreciate the feature to lock these buttons. They lock in place well, and I haven't even noticed any wobbling from these buttons as I hold the controller. ... show more
