This is a really good fast controller. All the buttons are mouse click and short action. The switches on the triggers are mouse click and are very short pull. My only complaint is that when I hit my Xbox home button it registers as a long press and goes to the Xbox shut off menu instead of the home widget menu so I have to do just a little longer to do the home button. Also button mapping is super easy and the response curves and deadzone setting options are insane. I’m currently running 1 on my stick deadzones and I’ve put around 72 hours on it in call of duty and other shooters.

The best gamepad I’ve ever owned! And I’m not being hyperbolic. This gamepad includes all of the features & benefits of gamepads which cost twocr as much. I paid $70 for mine, and it is also the most pricey gamepad I’ve owned as well. I have usually just used the cheapo $30-40 varieties. I decided to spring a bit more for this one, and it is well worth it!! I still would likely not even consider buying a gamepad for much more than $70, and especially not $120 or more. But those more expensive versions, based on my research, offered nothing more than this one does! I highly recommend! Even comes with optional D-pads, plus all of the better tech (no drift, magneto sticks, Hall effect & hair/trigger buttons, as well as additional buttons which can be used or “locked” in case of accidental pressing. Not to mention, triple connectivity via BT, 2.4GHz wireless or wired; which includes a high-quality braided USB-C cable and charging base station! Very well done. Now of course, if it stops working soon, I’ll come back and edit this of course! But I had my last gamepad for almost 10 years and it was still functional at the end—and that one was $40. So, I expect many years of fun gaming with this one!

Official Xbox licensed TMR, GameSir is really getting better past year they went from a cheap controller manufacturer in China to one of the Top Dogs! Scuf Valor Pro or GameSir G7 Pro will for me as far as official Xbox licensed controllers are tied for 1st. Scuf doesn’t have iCue for any controller but the Envision for PC. But it would be nice to tweak the Scuf Valor Pro with software but it basically is tuned and calibrated to perfection from Scuf. Although for some the sticks are only rectangular, and no option for circular. Jury is out which was is better, I’m saying there both great. G7 Pro has TMR sticks and actual great ones with no re centering spring, 12 bit 4096 resolution. Turtle Beach anti drift sticks are great, Scuf was late to the anti drift party, but there Hall effect sticks are some of the best, and they too acknowledge them as antidrift thumbsticks. Also GameSir has angreat app for PC and Xbox, and you can tweak pretty much everything. 272 grams. A perfect weight , valor pro is 260 and I don’t find that too light. Cyclone 2 other than not licensed for Xbox is really light at about 224 grams. Only thing negative about that controlller. Also Xbox is going to realease a Xbox licensed Tarantula. Same sticks as in Cyclone 2 and Tarntula Pro, the Tarantula with also have a PS4 stick layout is 325 grams, and it is a great weight. The G7 Pro is like I said tied with Scuf Valor Pro for official Xbox controllers, ironically both are wired. And at this point I’d rather play wired, even though the wireless tech out now gives you just as a great latency. Don’t hesitate, I pre ordered the black/red one from best buy yesterday and it says it comes out 8/22/25, while the white one was 8/15/25. After an hour I decided to cancel it, Amazon already had the controller as unavailable. So when I saw this morning you can order Same Day, I was glad I canceled my pre order. But for people who haven’t tried the Scuf Valor Pro, it’s 109.99 or 99.99 plus 10 dollars shipping on the Scuf website. I love the Nacon RXU , it’s heavy, omron face buttons, everything, but I’d rather get the Scuf and G7 Pro with 10 bucks saved. 200 dollar controllers at this point are a luxury, by no means do you need one to for esports. It’s so funny how I hated companies like GameSir, and never understood how the Scuf Instinct Pro was so expensive, but now I’m a Scuf fanboy, and GameSir really became famous for the G7 SE and G7 HE, for 44.99 and 49.99, gamers loved it. I bought the Kalied, and it was nice but felt cheap and was light. But Tarantula is when I knew they were the real deal, then Cyclone 2 and Super Nova. I also bought Iron Man G7 HE from wal mart, for some reason they have a lifetime stock. I still haven’t opened it, and prolly won’t. Collectors item. Scuf Instint Pro with anti drift would be great, or Scuf Instinct Pro . I’m telling you when the valor pro came out I laughed at it, and then one day Amazon had it for 89.99 and I picked the white one over black, they were out of steel grey. They re stocked and I bought a steel grey, almost was just gonna get the black one too, just because it’s all I use now. But G7 pro was obvious choice. Wolverine V3 Pro is great, and TE is also for 99.99 a great deal, but even the Pro I’d rather play with my Stealth Ultra or RXU, and of course Scuf Valor Pro. It’s 1A and 1A with G7 pro and Valor pro.

I bought the GameSir G7 Pro controller for my teenage son, and he really likes it. One of his favorite features is that it can also be used wirelessly, which gives him more flexibility depending on where he’s gaming. He says the controller feels smooth, responsive, and comfortable during long gaming sessions. The buttons and sticks feel high quality, and he likes the extra customizable controls. Setup was simple, and it’s worked great with his Xbox. Overall, this has been an excellent controller for the price, and my son has been very happy with it. I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a quality gaming controller for Xbox or PC.

Excellent controller. I would say the worst feature of this controller is the d pad. If that is something you use often in your gaming experience, this isn’t the controller you want. Everything else, I really like but they really dropped the ball on this terrible dpad. I have many different controllers from different brands but gamesir is always a solid option. The halo effect sticks are nice and smooth and very responsive. The face buttons I would say are membrane style and very sold but very responsive. The back buttons are useful as well. The Dpad though, is almost like they built the whole controller and then said “on no we forgot to budget for a dpad” then they proceeded to pull out a failed dpad from the trash bin. I try to click right and it registers up or I try to click up and it registers left. It’s just not easy to use. And very random/touchy with inputs.

No complaints. Everything is working great, and it feels much better in the hands. I love the extra buttons and how easily they can be mapped to other controls without using the software. No complaints from me so far. After using this controller, I’m definitely not going back to regular first-party controllers again. I do wish the D-pad felt more like the Xbox Series X controller, but overall, this controller is a 10/10 for me. I really enjoy using it. It looks very cool, and it has all the features and customization you would want in a controller. I mostly use it out of the box with the standard settings, then bind the D-pad controls to the extra buttons, but you can customize it however you like. It’s awesome. You will not regret getting this controller, that’s for sure. It is much better value than paying a premium for an Xbox Elite controller. In my opinion, the GameSir G7 Pro gives you much more value for the money.

This controller has been hands down the best one yet! I’m so glad I took the chance and got this. I had done some research and found this controller fit all my needs. This has a great dock with the option of using either Bluetooth or RF. The RF dongle conveniently is attached to the bottom of the dock which you can then plug into your PC and use RF without taking up and additional USB port. Firmware is easy to keep up to date and mapping the buttons is very straight forward and intuitive. The user friendly software you can install on your desktop is simple and basic. Not sure on Linux compatibility though. Will test in near future as I do game on Bazzit and a Steamdeck as well. The controller is very comfortable in the hands no larger or heavier than the standard Xbox controller. I love that I can flip the triggers to short throw and back to full trigger pulls depending on the game. All in all this is a must have in your controller arsenal if you want something a bit more than the standard controller. The options and customization is great in addition to the wireless PC capabilities. Some of the cons I’d mention that if you are using this on an Xbox console wired is the only way to use this controller. This goes for streaming and emulation controller pass through. I use Sunshine / moonlight to remotely game on my MacBook when I am traveling and stream from my gaming pc back home. I can use a PS5 DualShock wireless or a standard Xbox controller but this continues wired or wireless does not get passed through properly. This happens in on my MacBook as well as my Asus ROG Strix Gaming laptop, only when streaming. I can’t speak on if this occurs with GeForce Now or Xbox Cloud Gaming / Gamepass Cloud games as I do not subscribe to those platforms but Steam Remote Play and Sunlight/Moonlight it does not work that way.

Edit: I ended up having issues with the controller losing its mind during extremely high action battles. It would slowly just look up into the sky. The only way to stop it was to release all the buttons for a second to let the controller reset itself and then i could control it again. Gamesir was no help, so i initiated a return. I give up on this brand. As a disabled gamer with limited feeling due to neuropathy in my hands and feet, I have unique needs for my controllers. I thought I would share my thoughts here. I will be mostly comparing this to my Xbox Elite 2 controller, which I would consider the gold standard if they didn't break so easily. I'm lucky to get one to last a year before it gets stick drift or something. The good: * This controller is super responsive on my Xbox. I bought their new licensed to controller first and sent it back because of response issues with the 2.4 GHz, just like others I've had. * The joysticks are amazing most of the time. I'll cover my issues in the bad section. * I've not had it long enough to know for sure, but so far it has survived my gimpy hands dropping it occasionally. * It has Xbox software to configure just about anything you would want to configure. I don't even know how to use some of the settings. The bad * Occasionally, I will release the joystick and it will continue to move. I don't think it's any kind of mechanical drift. It feels like it centers itself well. I don't know what exactly causes this. I mostly notice this when I'm trying to select something in my inventory and it just goes on past it. If it behaves like stick drift, does it fix the issue that most sticks have? * Obviously I have to plug this in with a cable. The cable was long enough to reach my bed, where I'm stuck much of the time. Too much up time and I find myself in the floor. Obviously, the Xbox controllers have the advantage with the proprietary wireless communication. I don't know if they won't license it or if companies just won't pay for it, but I've yet to find a 2.4 GHz dongle based controller that behaves correctly. Thus, I'm using a wired controller here and obviously the USB cable gets tripped on and the vacuum tries to eat it, etc. Still, it reaches where I need it. I just wonder how long before I have to replace the cable. At least it's not hardwired into the actual controller. I just hate having to go with this solution since I hate falling in the floor and risking breaking me or my gaming stuff. * It feels slightly smaller than the Elite 2 controller in my hands. I don't know if that's just my imagination, but sometimes I don't feel like my hands are where they should be to rest in a natural position. This brings us to the next issue. * The L/R 4 paddles are in an unnatural position for me. With the Elite 2 controller, I can move the paddles that I use, because I leave one set off. That leaves me with two different positions I can move the paddles. Also, because of my lack of feeling in my fingers, there is absolutely no tactile feedback that I can feel that tells me where those paddles are underneath. In my Elite 2, the metal pedals are separate and you can't miss where they're at. I am constantly trying to find the paddles on this controller when my hands go numb after about 10 minutes of gameplay. I feel that they should have a slight texture or something to let you know where they're at. Maybe I should tape sandpaper to mine. 😁 * I don't know how anyone uses the L/R 5 buttons. They are so close to the bumpers, that they're worthless to me. I guess maybe if you have tiny fingers and have feeling in your hands. I just know that I gave up with those. * While the software has a lot of features, it's not well documented. I know I need some adjustments at times, but I'm not sure what to adjust and how much. I guess I'm supposed to do what I do with everything else and just look it up on the internet. Overall, I like the controller. It still does a better job than most controllers out there and I absolutely have to have the L/R 4 buttons because I have problems pushing the thumb sticks. I'm hoping the quality holds up better than my Elite controllers, because I'm getting tired of blowing so much money to replace them. I know most companies don't think a lot about disabled gamers and when they do it's often just software shortcuts framed as accessibility, but I wish more would think about those of us with limited feeling in our hands. A controller can easily become useless if you can't feel the buttons or push two other buttons when trying to reach one. Assuming it holds up in quality, I would probably buy this controller again. There isn't a lot on the market. I was really excited about the officially licensed one, under the mistaken premise that it would connect natively. It was a wonderful controller, but I just struggle with 2.4 ghz dongle based controllers in general. I apologize if I made spelling mistakes. I use voice to text a lot and I don't always catch them. I sincerely hope that this helps someone out there.
