By far, one of the best controllers I've used to date. I'm a PC gaming and I've always used official xbox controllers for their reliability and joystick configuration. I've always wanted to try more of what's conssidered a "performance" controller; better joystick, extra buttons, profiles, etc. most are really expensive and have mixed reviews and when I heard companies like "PowerA" and "Gamesir" who were typically known for cheap knockoff's started making affordable "performance" controllers, I was interested. After doing some research I settled on this Gamesir G7 Pro.. I've found your getting quality where it matters: joysticks. buttons, rumble feature and software everything else is just extra in my opinion. Some of the reasons I really like this controllers: First, you can feel the quality out of the box, the face buttons feel like mouse clicks, the joysticks are anti drift TMR, which u can replace without any tools! and the hall effect triggers feel amazing. Rumble motors in the controller AND triggers, 4 profiles with a dedicated button for switching (no need to switch using the pc app) Instead of 4 extra buttons in the back you get 2 extra at the top and 2 in the back that are placed better then any other controller i've seen yet, a very sturdy charging base and lastly this wonderful bracket that helps protect the USB cable if and when you need to plug it in. Its clear a lot of thought went into creating this product and at a price points of $79 you can't beat it!

Fantastic value for a $79 controller. This competes easily with the models that cost 2-2.5x the price. Great responsiveness. I love the 'clicky' modes. You can adjust the throw of the triggers and even lock out the back buttons.. Nice grips.. just a fantastic feeling controller.. The base/charger has an integrated pocket you can hide weed in as well. Ive never had a better spot to sneak a few mini's into the luggage. Overall great controller and im never buying another elite or 'pro' model again.

I've been using it for over a year now. A little pricey. Good premium feel. Exceptional precision. Tactile, responsive buttons. Joysticks are smooth and crisp at the same time. It's a good investment if you can take care of it.

I bought this as an upgrade to my Gamesir G7 SE, which performed like a beast: no drift, great feel, extra-buttons, multiple profiles... It got to the end of the line after a lot of years of service. So I thought: since I liked the G7 so much, the G7 Pro must be pretty much the same thing with a couple extra features... NO! I was wrong. VERY WRONG: Buttons: Almost ALL buttons are sitting in switches, so all buttons presses feel clicky (like that same feel you get when pressing the LB/RB buttons in the G7 SE), but now in EVERY button. Not sure if this made for buttons to survive more presses, but it just feels weird to get this feel on every button (including D-PAD), it makes it feel cheap. G7 SE feels way more natural. Gripping: The controller itself feels more sturdy than the G7 SE, it feels way more like a real PRO controller. It has a nice grip finish, I would say it would be really hard for it to slip away. So G7 Pro beats G7 SE. Functionality: Here is where the UPGRADE part really shines when comparing SE vs PRO. The G7 SE it's JUST a wired controller which you can connect to an PC and an Xbox (that's all I tested with), but that's it, you either plug it to any of these and play on them. G7 Pro, on the other hand, allows wireless gaming in PC, Bluetooth for Android and wired PC/Xbox gaming, it REALLY feels like an upgrade. If you care about wireless gaming and android connectivity, this upgrade really makes a difference. If you play wired regardless, then it offers you the same as G7 SE. App: This is the other piece of upgrade that moves the scale to G7 Pro side. G7 SE used GameSir Nexus Legacy which serves it's purpose: it lets you configure the controller profile and set the button bindings. The G7 PRO app (Gamesir Nexus) is way more complete as it allows you to tweak deadzone, SET KEYBOARD AND FUNCTION BINDINGS INTO THE EXTRA BUTTONS (this is huge) Bottom line: I'm having a hard time getting used to the top extra buttons positioning, and the feels of clicking each button is really annoying, however it might also be worth to give a try if you think you the upgrades are worth it. I've only have it for less than a week so I hope it's just a small curve before getting used to the clicky buttons.

Edit: 5 stars after receiving new controller. Everything works as it should with no issue, right trigger stop feels solid. Top tier controller here. I have to preface why i'm not giving this controller 5 stars. The original controller I received was defective and had a right micro switch that would not read consistently after a day or so of use. I had to complete a return, and a month or so later I've decided to give it another go. It's been rare for me to get multiple defective units back to back. So here we go. The controller feels great in hand. I'm able to use my custom faceplates from gamesir like I can on the G7he & se, and they fit perfectly with the only exception being the cross d-pad being the only one which fits in the faceplate. Which to me is perfectly fine. It looks wrong on the G7pro, but perfect on the SE/HE face plate. It's also awesome for fighting games and platformers. Which is a important feature I feel in a pro controller. A lot of companies skimp here. Another feature Gamesir did not cheap out on is the software used to customize the controller. I've had over a dozen controllers in my hands the last few years, and this suite can not be beat. Easy to use and very user friendly. Can save 4 profiles and switch on the fly. Good stuff. The thumbsticks feel great, and have a very high resolution and bit rate. A little loose for my liking, but it's comparable to the Gamesir Cyclone 2. Which is great because the sticks on these controllers are maybe the best at maintaining a zero dead zone without stick drift. I've purchased many, many controllers over the past few years. A lot of controllers can boast about zero dead zone's with no drift. Many do not live up to that title without some kind of software algorithm. Wireless connectivity has been rock solid holding near 1000hz with little to no jitter on polling tests and no random disconnects. Wired is a bit quicker as to be expected. As long as the trigger stops hold up to prolonged use i will put this controller on a top tier list. However if you read around on reddit you see many of the same complaints. So it is a known issue. So far the 2nd control is holding up. If it's still holding strong in a month or two I will upgrade my rating to 5 stars. As it is exceptional when all works as expected. I don't have an xbox so I wasn't able to give it a test there, but you have access to all the same features outside of gyro control. So I doubt anybody will be disappointed with it outside of this model needing to be wired for it to work on XBOX.

I currently play with an elite two controller. I also have a Scuf wireless Pro. Disappointed with both of them. Love the elite too ergonomics and weight but the stick drift drove me nuts I’ve been through six of them. Bought the scuf purely for the stick drift problem and that was great, but I hated the economics of that thing. Just got this game, sir G7 pro wired and I’m shocked that I just spent 80 bucks and have never been happier. 80 bucks are you kidding me my scuff was almost 200. I got a little getting used to with the buttons, but that seems to be taken about 30 seconds. After playing for one hour with this thing, I am in love and completely shocked. I never write reviews, but if you’re struggling with stick drift, this thing for 80 bucks is amazing. I have zero problem that it’s wired. 80 bucks did I mention that? Saw Nick Mercs on a video saying that exact thing which is why I tried it for 80 bucks. I was skeptical because he is sponsored by them, but he’s a maniac on a controller and if he’s really using that, then I want that one. Blown away love this thing.

I found no stick drift with the controller. The button layout is good and everything in the right spot. I like the battery life of the controller. It is good for gameplay. The compatibility is good with my machine. It is fairly durable and I have had zero problems with it so far. The value is typical for this type of controller. Yes, I would recommend this product.

I would definitely give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the d-pad. It is way too sensitive and clicks over twice when pressed once. It's not horrible but it's not ideal. Supposedly this was fixed in a newer version called the zzz but it would be nice if they would stop making this version like this with the messed up d-pad. Fix it and then release it again but I am sure they won't do that because they have the zzz now and it will allow them to make more money by people buying another controller. You all knew the controller was doing this when it was made because it virtually happens on every single one that was sold. You knew what you were doing. You should make it right for the people that spent money on it hoping for a great controller. Other than that, everything else works very smooth and feels right. There is plenty of control option for the buttons and with the nexus program you can adjust the controller furthers on pc. It's a nice add on. 4 stars until they fix the d pad for this controller.
