Went through a smoothie kick and this worked well for that! Really good for making milkshakes as well. It wouldn't handle super tough things or really thick dough but for the size it's quite impressive.

I eat a low carb/keto diet, so cauliflower is one of my best friends (usually happily, but sometimes begrudgingly). I had another stick blender that appears to be on permanent loan to my son, so figured it was time to get my own again. So I'm not unfamiliar with them. I steam a LOT of cauliflower. Using the blender, I can puree it down to make a faux mashed potatoes. I make a lot of Shephard's Pie, so this comes in handy as mashed potatoes is the top layer. I had the idea that I could use the whip and maybe make a lumpier mashed potato consistency out of the cauliflower, but that didn't work too well. I think it's the fault of the cauliflower and not the whip though. Overall I'm very pleased with this. It works well and seems like it will last a long time. ... show more

This is a bargain for all of the attachments you get! We use all of the attachments for various purposes and each one works fantastic! The one long silver part we used to make milkshakes and it did an amazing job. We used the beater for mixing a few things and it does great! Wouldn't be good for thicker dough or thick cookie mix of course- those will burn a normal mixer out. We also used the chopper to chop up veggies for our bearded dragon and it did great. We then used the chopper to grind up cheerios for a recipe and it worked perfectly. And lastly we tried the chopper attachment with a jar of salsa. We have a favorite salsa we love but it's too chunky for us picky eaters so we put it in this for a couple seconds and it cut the bigger chunks down easily! Overall this thing works great and everything works as it should! Great value for this set! ... show more

Primarily using this for smoothies. It takes about the same amount of time as a regular blender. Even with frozen strawberries and ice, it goes a great job. Ice maker ice makes it a little easier than hard, frozen ice from the freezer. The cup it comes with works really well actually for stuff like smoothies. The base sticks to the counter well and it's a good shape and size, enough for 2 smaller smoothies or one XL. Clean up is a whole lot easier than a traditional blender....basically just detach and rinse the immersion attachment. I also used the chopping attachment to shred some fresh mozzarella for cheesesteaks. Worked really well....doesn't come out "shredded" but did chop it up well for melting over the steak. Looking forward to use it for some sauces and stuff, the slower speed should be perfect for that (I use the turbo mode for the smoothies and anything harder). Nice, easy gadget for the kitchen...definitely getting good use out of it. ... show more
