This mattress has just the right balance of softness and support. My girlfriend is a back sleeper, and she says it keeps her spine aligned without feeling too firm. Great mattress, my son has slept so peacefully since owning it. I am 6 months pregnant and I was able to carry the package in, unwrap and put on bed easily. Packaging says to give item 72 hours to fully inflate. I was worried he wouldn’t be able to use it the day/night we received it however, within 6 hours it was fully inflated and had just gotten more firm. The thickness is perfect, size, and comfortable.
