    • Great for rain but not heavy winds

I purchased this twice, I lost my first one. I bought this mainly for its reverse compact design and its large size when open. It works great for rain. I only had to worry about my shoes(which I found shoe covers for later) while I was using this. The canopy size gives me great coverage(I’m above average kind of large) and I like how compact it becomes to put into a pocket of my cooler bag. I also live in a sun heavy summer environment, so the UV protection is amazing. One day a heavy wind and rain hit the area after work and This umbrella was bending fiercely. It did its job of covering me, however the next time I tried to open it, it wouldnt finish opening and locking. It just extended, I had to manually push it open and feel it lock. Not too long ago I also dropped it and one part wouldn't close back in, thus no longer becoming compact. I’m now looking for a double canopy design. Though I do recommend this if you don't experience heavy winds. ... show more

The only reason for 4 stars is because it is a little wobbly when open, not as strong as I was hoping. I do love how it opens up and closes with just a push of the button. I can definitely tell a difference with the UV vs a regular umbrella.

I love this umbrella. I'm allergic to the sun because of medical conditions and medications. I ordered this umbrella and hoped for the best. It really does help and a nice size for protection from the sun. Thank you for making a great product that does what it proclaims it will do.

This compact umbrella does the trick on these hot sunny days. It pops open one handed and folds in a way that keeps your hands dry if you use it in the rain. It takes a little effort to close but fits in a back pack. I like it.
