  • Should bought this a long time ago, it’s what I’ve needed.
Style: Monitor
This is my third LG Monitor this year so far. Started off with a LG 29UM68-P ultra wide from 2016, loved it, well the screen broke when I knocked it over. Ordered a new one early 2022 29WP60G. Returned the same day. Colors we’re horrible and text unreadable. Replaced it with LG 29WN600. It was a little better, still not a good looking as LG 29UM68-P. So.. I knocked over the LG 29WN600 by accident and had to replace. Replaced it with the one I’m reviewing and couldn’t be happier. Colors are much more rich, whites are whiter and calibration controls were easy to use. Great monitor and hopefully I don’t knock this one over anytime soon! My primary use for the monitor is for Graphics, Business, Video & Photography with a 2019 16” MacBook Pro. ... show more

  • Great Value
Style: Monitor
Used as a 2nd monitor. Straight out of the box it just worked - no setup needed. Color calibration not required for my purposes and it looks pretty right anyway. Intuitive "joystick" type button/control. Highly revommended.

  • Awesome monitor for home music setup
Style: Monitor
I purchased this monitor specifically to use for music production in a Windows environment - DAW, mixing, mastering, songwriting, etc. The resolution, quality and especially price is just right. I use with my laptop via HDMI and set display to 125% magnification (3480 x 2160 @60hz). If I set display magnification to 100%, everything is a bit too small for my eyes which may be perfect for other users. Monitor resolution supports 4K and HDR if your device/video can. Picture quality is awesome for my use which includes office apps and streaming aside from the music production stuff. I get a lot more desktop real estate to see more of the wave forms and menus without having to keep scrolling like my previous monitor. It's also perfect for my small home setup where space is a premium. I'm not a gamer or visual content artist so I haven't tried any of those type of apps. It was very easy to set up and comes with an HDMI cable. However, I chose to purchase a separate 4K HDMI cable and haven't used the one in the box. I started with the monitor powered off but connected, turned on the laptop, logged in and turned on the monitor. My WIN10 laptop did the rest automatically. I adjusted some of the display settings but very little changes from one of the default options. It does have an audio out (3.5mm phone) which can be used to connect to an external speaker set up if you need. I have an audio interface so I use that instead. I have been using it for more than a month without any issues. Color and picture is awesome (for my needs) and I especially love the extra desktop space. Also enjoying the 4K streaming! ... show more

  • The monitor I needed for an M1 MacBook
Style: Monitor
I tried a lower-quality brand monitor for my MacBook M1, and it failed miserably--it took about 5 minutes of effort to get it to work after every sleep cycle. I gave up and sent it back. Then I paid a little extra for this LG monitor. The quality is outstanding, and it works within a few seconds every time I wake my MacBook from sleep. I have tried on a MacBook Air M1 and MacBook Pro M1, and they both work great with HDMI or Displayport via a Dell docking station. I didn't try the included stand. It does have a very wide footprint and appears to be sturdy enough. I just didn't want to risk it based on others' reviews so use a third-party stand instead. ... show more

  • It is not a LG panel, but BOE panel (about $100) is also quite Okay
Style: Monitor
you can turn it off and press left left left right and press down to see the service menu. And it shows panel: MV270QUM-N30

  • Backlight bleed on white backgrounds (what??)
Style: Monitor
This monitor boasts perhaps the worst backlight bleed I've ever seen. The left side of the display is permanently yellow from bleed; it's almost like it got banged around during shipping, but the packaging is in perfect condition and holds the monitor snugly. Based on other reviews, I'm assuming that this is in fact a manufacturer defect. Unfortunate - colors are accurate out of the box (2 dE avg when checked with my Spyder3 Elite, yes, it's old and degraded) and the panel covers 95% of the sRGB gamut when calibrated. Text is sharp, and the anti-glare coating is decent, but I found the external power supply to be a bit odd and cheap. If not for the backlight bleed, I would have happily kept and used this monitor for the foreseeable future. ... show more
