This umberalla is really much more than a very good looking product. It is compact, measuring 12" x 2 1/2:" diameter when folded. It opens to 42" diameter (I guess if you measure on the curved surface of the umbrella, you will measure 46" as the headline states). That makes a good choice for travel needs or for storage in your car; for use on that unexpected rainy day. The umbrella itself is made of fairly thick plastic. It's ectremely flecible. The handle is a bit small for my hand. Despite that, it is easy to maintain a good grip, even in a strong wind. The frame and spokes are much heavier that those of your average umbrella. As a result, the umbrella hiolds up very well against the wind. The spokes may flex a bit in a strong wind but thkey do not bend or deform. The umbrella is held to the radial spokes at a number of locations so the umbrella fabric itself doesn't flop around in the wind. The spring mechanism is strong and forceful. It opens easily and takes a bit of force to close. Just the way I like it. After use, and once dry, the umbrella is easy to fold and store in the supplied pouch. My only complaint was the "plastic" odor of the umbrella when I received it. However, after a few days, the odor was gone. In summary, I find that the G4Free Reflective Travel Umbrella looks great and performs well. I am really pleased with it.

This is honestly the nicest umbrella I've ever owned! Right out of the box you could tell it was high quality and sturdy. It opens/closes easily and the colors are so pretty, just as pictured. It definitely does not feel as though it would easily be messed up by wind which can always be frustrating. It's easy to hold and a great size for storing in the car. Love, love, love this!

This is a beautiful colorful umbrella that’s easy to open and close and a great sun protection. I like this large size its water-repellant reflective fabric, a non-slip handle with a wrist strap, strong fiberglass ribs, and an automatic open and close, button to control the umbrella. It is of great quality and affordable and suitable for a rainy day, a hot sunny day, and a windy day. I highly recommend this beautiful umbrella.

I love that this umbrella is reflective so that it is safer for you at night. I really like the coloring and the design of this umbrella. It is made of good quality and sturdy materials, so that it should last for a while.

I was initially impressed when I first opened the umbrella. It feels thick and well built. The auto open/close feature is easy to use, just press the button. Be careful though it shoots out and opens really fast, almost could be used as a weapon. I wanted this for the rain but also for the sun when traveling as well just to create shade. I brought it on my trip where it did BOTH and handled everything well in London. Even though it's plain it seems holographic to the eyes and basically like when you take a picture with flash this will wash out the picture!

The umbrella seems well built and the fabric is surprisingly thick and is reflective. This comes in handy when I'm using it at night. I like that it is a nice size umbrella that folds up into a compact size when closed, and I have been able to return the umbrella into it’s sleeve with no problem. I really like the color and pattern as well. Overall, this is a great umbrella.

I got this umbrella for my wife who keeps buying and complaining about all the umbrellas, and now she finally seems super satisfied, she's already used it on very rainy days, and noticed how wind-resistant it is. Enough size to cover well, and she love the reflective and the color.
