Its a very good looking watch and the Eco-Drive technology is excellent. Battery also holds up well as I have had it locked up in darkness for over 4 months and it still is running like day 1. Leather strap feels a little low quality but you could swap that out.

So this isn’t my first citizen watch , but as for the price tag you really can’t beat it , it’s very easy to read the time , but the date not so much . The Eco Drive is the best hands down beats a whole lot of watches . So it takes light any kind of light and turns it into power , so no battery ever ! And you don’t need to buy a mechanical watch box to keep it turning so the time won’t stop that alone is the seller turn on the light and bam! It takes it and stores it in the watch most Citizens have a power meter this one don’t but means it’s super efficient the brown band is the top notch and I also bought a black band and a grey band and let me tell you it don’t look right the black wasn’t so bad but the leather brown makes this watch pop ! It’s a chronograph watch that works flawless I have tested it out in numerous different occasions last one was a race in my sons car ofcourse we won not cause of the watch but still the same we set a new personal record. Also with a zap of light for about 5 seconds the whole watch face and hands light up green this is the new version is luminous cause if you remember the old luminosity was you had to shine light at it for over 30 seconds any maybe you will get a little green . Perfect watch. Now my personal opinion is the case diameter is to small for my liking it comes in at 42mm they say 43 but it’s not I’m use to 45mm and larger that size works way better for me and looks amazing. Either way I have been wearing it like every day since I bought it and have received compliments more than I thought I would get, it goes from business to casual that’s a hard look to pull off with so many different watches but this citizen watch manages to pull it off . So to recap for the money you won’t find a better watch this watch is loaded with options, Reads like a book clear and bright and not over powering like so many other watches I own and let me tell you I own more that 72 watches. Performance wise it’s got what you need trust me . And it won’t ever need a battery that is the best thing about this watch out don’t ever stop .. Yes it’s water resistant , and I have take this watch swimming . So buy this watch you won’t be disappointed I know I wasn’t ... show more

Not a comp item. This is my watch purchased by me. -Like the solar feature. -Like the Arabic numerals and larger format. Makes it easier to read than most. -The second hand is at the 6 o'clock position which I prefer over some of my Seiko's having theirs at the 9 o'clock position. -The stopwatch feature is typical and simplistic as the pushers are easily operated. The first pusher at the 2 o'clock position depresses once to engage and again to stop/ repeat. The Pusher at 4 o'clock returns to Zero. **DO NOT ENGAGE THE RETURN PUSHER WHILE OPERATING THE STOP WATCH. ** Wait till the stopwatch function is not in motion to depress and return to Zero. The factory band is not good so I removed it and purchased a metal gunmetal band bracelet from Citizen to match< well worth upgrading to this if you can. Something about the brown plain leather band that wants to make me puke. If you want brown, get a Benchmark Made or Barton band. They are nice. Or switch to the metal from Citizen, nicer! Nuff said. This watch is beautiful in person - the picture does not do it justice! I have had it for a while now and it has kept accurate time and held its charge. It's an Eco Drive which is awesome! It is easy to set and feels really comfortable on my wrist and has held up under water. The watchband isn't for a terribly large wrist and is nice not having a lot of extra band to deal with. I have quite a few Citizen Eco Drive watches and love them. I would recommend this watch as a casual wear watch. ... show more
