Did not like that it stiffened the envelope... but I suspect that that's expected when you add a pre-formed shape around your hammock. i've used this down to 60 degrees and it kept me super comfy. i was really impressed for the price. i will say, though, it seems pretty narrow for something that is advertised to work with a double wide hammock. i have a 34 inch waist and found myself wishing the underquilt was several inches wider. the elastic suspension is a downside in my opinion - it kinda sucks. it offers no adjustability whatsoever, which certainly limits you. however, it looks pretty easy to swap the elastic out for something better, so i don't think that's a dealbreaker. being required to fold it neatly to store it in the bag is also worth considering. having packed and unpacked it several times now, i think that the extra money to get something you can stuff into a sack instead of folding would really be worth it if you can afford it. overall i'm satisfied with what i got for what i paid.

I havenโt put this underquilt to use yet but I set it up after receiving and it seems to be well made and comfortable. I even tried a different brand for comparison but ended up sending it back and ordering 2 more of these. I will update soon after using these on a backpacking trip this summer.
